This story, man, Let me tell you that I have read fan fiction for years and the show has been over for two now, but this is without a doubt the most disturbing, most emotional, most poignant, most amazing thing i have ever read. Truly, it is so beautiful. You just do not expect to read these types of things that hit home when you read fan fiction. It is without a doubt my favorite. I was so moved, I actually had to take time before I could write this you, sincerely. As to how it relates to the show, I think you nailed the relationship with both Beckett and Castle and captured, what I want to believe is what the writers were so terribly trying to do down the stretch of the show. Spin a tale of how love ultimately conquers all and in even in the worst times, there is a chance of joy if you stick together and embrace that love, I think the things that each character said to each other and what Lanie added was spot on in terms of how they hurt each other during the show. Of course, you added a much more real and sad element to do so. I don't know if I could have forgiven Beckett in the show and I dont even want to think about having to deal with losing a child, but you story really makes you appreciate a lot of things. The show, love, children, etc, etc, I am sure I will read this over and over again. I really wish you would write more, you truly have a gift.

I don't really have any words to convey how beautiful, how moving, how hard and how breathtaking your story is. It's about love and pain, and lost souls finding their way back together to finally be one again in love and grief. "He couldn't write because there were no words inside his head, his heart couldn't beat in the vacuum that was his chest. And his soul, Kate, his soul had gone wandering and without her..." This passage was so strong... yeah, great story!

This is the first story of yours I've read,but it won't be the a wonderful story,it has become one of my keep writing,I'll keep reading!

I can't even count how many times I've read this fic. And I'm sure if I went through them all I've most likely reviewed a to. But I just want to say as I'm sure I've said so many times. This fic is so amazing. I sob every time. It's so well written. Heartwarming, sorrowful, tragic, sad, happy. and I'm sure a few more emotions that I can't pinpoint at the moment. Please never stop writing.

I read this story last year, after having read literally thousands to Castle FFs. I want you to know that this story stuck with me more than most. Having lost twins to premature birth I wasn't sure I could get through such a sad story, but I did. Your writing was so poignant, it kept me riveted. Every once in a while now, another story I read reminds me of this one and I think back to how tragic and yet hopeful this story was. Thank you for writing it and for handling this topic so realistically and with such sensitivity.

This is probably one of the most heartbreaking stories I've read on here. It was so beautifully written,though. I love angst anyway. Loved that you put the epilogue in because it made everything feel so much better. Thank you for a wonderful story on a very difficult, heartbreaking topic!

This will forever be one of my favorite stories. Every angst lover should read this, as heartbreaking as it is. The love shines throughout, even in the most difficult chapters. I just re-read it and although I cried buckets I loved it just as much. Thank you again for writing such poignant Castle stories.
