Oh this was so good. From the angst to the cautious hope and struggle for redemption/reconciliation it was well written. I really liked that they reconnected at the Hamptons on the eve of Jack's passing, and how Castle thought that part of Jack's legacy was bringing his parents back together and strengthening their bond. I really love how she went to the grief support group with him. That whole scene was very touching and emotionally powerful. The ending was great. It showed that they were able to move on it still remember. I'm glad they kept in touch with Pete and his wife, and were able to help them. Thank you for writing and sharing this heart breaking yet extremely moving story with us.

Wow! I was doing something else before I started reading this and wanted to get back to it, but I couldn't. That story is just so amazing. It's deep and tragic and beautiful at the same time. I just had to read it all at once, which doesn't happen very often. Sad that it ended, but that ending was great!

It's like a memorial to Jack and the best part is that Alexis did it and included Kate! She's home and this most important part of their home doesn't exclude her! She has to know that deep down, they were all waiting for her to come home!

I don't know that I would give up a whole lot of action with Kate just to write! Might need a break now and then at least!
