I'm back again! I can't believe I'm remembering to review!

Anyway, loved this chapter, especially the bit at the very end. It certainly wasn't what I expected. I suppose I assumed Harry would perform a perfect piece of impossible magic but I'm forced to concede the point becasue you're version is just so much better (although I have a nasty suspicion that I may be proved wrong next chapter if it's discovered he apparated-unless he was in Phoenix form when he left the room. Either way, he's screwed!)

I like how you haven't made Harry all-powerful (which is the way this fic was leaning) and have given him a few hurdles to get over. I'm also very pleased you haven't made the visions the focal point of the story (although I'll admit it was the idea of Harry spontaneously bursting into fire that got me hooked in the first place-perhaps it's not so surprising he's a phoenix after all!)

I'm pleased about how you're going to go into more detail about Remus' new ability. The concept intrigued me! I also love the way you write Sirius here, somehow immature and mature at the same time -no clue how you manage that. Is anyone going to discover poor little Harry-phoenix bursting into flames? Fawkes maybe? Hmm, I'll have to wait and see I suppose-not happy about that. And there's something I forgot from last chapter but it suddenly returned to me when I was reading this one. Does Dumbledore already know about Harry's animagus form or was he genuinely concerned for the new phoenix on the block when he didn't show up for the meeting?

Yay, you made the stag black for me! Thankies, you've made my day! As for discontinuing my own fic...erm...sorry. I didn't realise people were really still reading it after I left it for so long but I found that I was getting too overwhelmed with trying to write and keep up whilst doing my studies as well. You probably know the feeling. So I've decided that I'm only going to start posting fics now when they are virtually complete, though i hope you don't do the same. I can't wait for you to finish the whole thing and only then post it! (I have to confess somewhat guiltily that I've been checking up on my favourites list every day to see if you'd updated-and I no doubt will be doing the same tomorrow and the day after and the day after...you get the picture).

Thanks for the great chapter and equally great reponse. Too much to beg another one?

Well, if Snape had a breakdown it would be way out of character. Wow, is Harry going to be in his true animagus form? In front of Sirius and Remus? I can't imagine Remus being too disappointed. Then again, Sirius wouldn't exactly go into depression over it. He would try to hide his disappointment. OK, I'm going to stop now with the reactions. The confrontation was fine though. I have a feeling that Harry will have another 'conversation' with Snape at some point. This may or may not involve Sirius. I have to stop doing that! This a chapter well done!
