BLOODY BRILLIANT! That's all I know to say. I just came to this site yesterday and posted the beginnings of my own first fic, which pales dramatically in comparison to your beautiful work. I am thrilled that I was able to read all seven of your chapters at once. You have captured the characters perfectly in so many poignant moments.

Thank you for sharing your talent and passion with us. Can you please add me to your mailing list? My email is

THANKS AGAIN! *smile*
live the rainbow chapter 1 . 1/17/2003
hey, this is one of the best HP fics I've read, well, from what I've read so far... anyway, it is written in a style very close to JK Rollings, and I commend you for that. NE way

NO ONE EXPECTS THE SPANISH INQUISITION!

Insane Pineapple from Naboo chapter 7 . 1/12/2003
*Laughs* No one, and I mean no one, has time these days. My schedule is full with band, soccer, and schoolwork, and yet I am taking on more than one story. What am I to do with myself? It seems that all I read on Harry Potter fanfiction these days are less than cheerful (aka torture) Harry things. I guess I like those better than overly happy fanfictions. Evil on the cliffhanger, but I've seen and done worse so I'm not really gonna criticize you on it. I didn't die waiting for this I will gladly inform you, but I think Minka did with that ending to her last fanfiction. I guess I will just walk around zombie like for this day forth. Padfoot seems on the parent concern side (a good thing) and Remus needs a little more interaction with the trio. I think I'll stop here.

Ja ne,

Chava chapter 7 . 1/5/2003
Yay - more Quidditch! What a great chapter - written with incredible sensitivity. Harry's dream about his father was fantastic. I love how you handle Sirius in his animagus form - amazing job keeping him communicating with Harry. You know, when I think back over the Harry Potter saga, I keep getting the books and your story mixed up in my head - J.K. Rowling doesn't need to release a 5th book - you're doing it for her! Nothing she could come up with could possibly be better than yours! I love it!
Karen chapter 7 . 1/4/2003
This was really great. I just finished reading the last chapter and the whole thing was soo awsome, though I must admit that I never expected for the Dursleys to be killed off, but it fit. You are an awsome writer, and I hope that you will contunue to write on this story. I am very interested in hearing that will come next.
Sky Chief chapter 7 . 1/4/2003
You know what I particularly love? In each chapter there's one line that makes me pull up short with a delighted smile. It's a marvelous moment where the prevailing mood is turned on its head.

What's so effective about that is that it's those little releases of the building tension that let you experience the next emotion more fully. Marvelous! Here's one example that I copied as I went by:

"No, but you knew about it, which is just as bad. Ferret Fudge."

Fantastic. Masterful job. Can't wait for the next installment!

As always a wonderful story, I'm glad that Lupin and Snuffles finally know they are so cool, but I miss Snape becuase you write him so well :( can't wait till next chappie!
Ariel chapter 7 . 1/3/2003
I think we all have to thank your sister for bullying you into putting this chapter up, it was extremely well done (even worth the aggravation of fighting with to read it, and that is truly high praise :). It was a great wind down chapter from the incredible tension of the end of chapter six, and yet it still introduced new questions and promised explanations in the form of the newly found book (alas, still a chapter away...). As for the meat of the chapter, the emotional fall out from the vision, and the varying reactions to the Dursleys deaths, I was even more impressed on second reading (I have to read everything twice before I can review coherently). I thought Professor McGonagall's reaction was especially endearing in a quiet way as she was obviously concerned but unable to act more definitely beyond quelling the rumors and turmoil in the Great Hall as implied later on. Which also, by the way, I thought was a very deft way of exposing the reactions of the majority of the students without

writing an entire separate scene. As for Harry's reaction to the vision I thought that his initial attempts to down play the severity of what he saw including neglecting to announce that he'd been hit with a killing curse and keeping to himself his aunt's last words seemed very natural and exactly how he (especially with his character as you've developed it) would act. I am curious as to how Lupin knew what had happened and I'm wondering if maybe it has some connection with how Aunt Petunia was actually able to speak to Harry even though in all the other dreams (including the one with the wandless wind charm incident) he had been invisible (at least I thought so, maybe I missed something) to the other participants. As the author I'm sure you'll be able to enlighten us (please, please, pretty please) in the next chapter or so, along with the truth about the oft mentioned but little explained prophecy that you've decided to tantalize us with. Until then, happy writing (hint, hint :)!
