Hmmm. This is supprisingly good. I thought, since it's so late in comming out, that it would just be regurgitated material, but it's quite intruging and inventive, if a little fast-paced.

I like the implication that Dumbledore cannot be trusted with harry's new abilities, though the poor boy's likely to frive himself insane if these 'accidents' keep taxing him. I'd like to see the opposite happen for once. Anger is a powerful emotion yes, and it triggers magic without thuoght. But enjoyment should be the same. I'd love to see harry out walking in the snow, really happy about somthing, and suddenly realising that pushing through the snow are hundreds of flowers and trees are blooming all around him.

Great symbolism with The Phoenix. It is a great newspaper too (not really, but the commentary section is).

Fawkes sounds like a word that is bad.

You describe very well how it feels to fly (I would know). I like the detail about Harry's arms getting tired, because that would probably happen. I hope he can still wave a wand in the morning!

I agree that Harry has more issues than at least the film presents. I mean... he was pretty much abused anyway and it was very much implied, but I like the emotional depth that you add to him.

Well, at least Harry did not die. For a minute there, I thought he and Hermione were going to er, get it on. hmm. I like how you add in the more main characters slowly... it helps those of us who are delinquents (Harry Potter movie only fans). I will get around to reading the series, as soon as I'm done with Robert Jordan...

Excellent story. You are a great writer, because somehow the Harry Potter fanfic has inspired me to compose an Imzadi one. Anyways, seeing Harry all sick like that makes me all maternal and whatnot. Poor boy, I hope he does not die. Since there are more chapters left to read, I'll give him some time... :)

Harry being a phoenix is not horribly cliched. It's very realistic if he was to become an animagus. It's better than him becoming something that's unrealistic, right? Ooh, it's got me wondering about what you're planning for the end of the story! Well, I'm actually jealous because you know what's going to happen at the end! hehe.

You're doing a great job, with such long chapters, and it's so well written. Keep it up!
