I love this story! I wish the epilogue was a bit longer, though. Did she learn to fight? Did they get married? Stuff like that. What did they do with assward?

Esme's denial and disbelief, demanding to know where Alistair had been almost feels like a reference or call back to Molly Grue demanding the same of Amalthea in the Last Unicorn. I loved that movie, and the fact that this one part reminds me of it makes it all the better!

I have read this in the app multiple times but it has no wifi anywho I would LOVE to see a one shot of the story about Alister and Peter to make Alister even more skittish around him
