I liked how you had Rick take Jim's advice to move on. The first thing he did was to reconnect with Alexis and that opening scene with them was wonderful. Her hair cut caught Rick by surprise but he liked it. The good thing was that they were able to spend some time together in Paris and that was a start for him to move on.

Was surprised to see Kyra being brought back but it turned out to be a good thing. She was another way for Rick to move on especially since she was divorced and hurting as well.

You did an excellent job with how things went between Rick and Kyra especially with how reluctant he was to have a romantic relationship with her. What impressed me most about this was that Kyra was okay with them being either friends or something more and that if they became more, they could do things slowly. That is what happened.

With that phone call from Shaw about Tyson and Kate being found, things are definitely going to change.

Looking forward to what happens next.

Oh man. Poor Kyra! And two years! A surprisingly considerable span of time you've chosen. I'm very curious as to Beckett's state. Tyson was one of the more...interesting villains from the show; a fearsome combination of capability, intelligence, and deadly patience. After having her spend that much time with the man, well, I trust you'll do the monster justice, as terrible as that sounds. I trust Kate can recover eventually too, of course, but two years...yeesh! Most intriguing, my friend, and the writing is equally formidable, both in terms of construction and characterization.
