![]() ![]() ![]() Best. Story. Ever. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Aw man, I wanted to know what was in the envelope :( |
![]() ![]() ![]() How could you make me feel so much in just the first chapter? I know this will be the death of me, and I'll probably finish the whole thing tonight. |
![]() ![]() ![]() ouf ; c'était beau et atroce à la fois ! heureusement que tout est bien qui finit bien. |
![]() ![]() Thank you Sandiane Carter for this amazing journey of angst, grief and love love love. So Caskett. So intense writing. |
![]() ![]() Ah! This one makes me feel better. Nice writing. |
![]() ![]() I am disappointed at Castle. I didn't like Castle saying 'I love you' to anyone other than Kate. He may fall back on Kyra but 'love'... I don't know. He may really really liked her. That's all. He left all hope for Kate and developed a relationship with his old flame.. I don't know again. Let's see where you take this story. |
![]() ![]() I only wish Jerry Tyson didn't rape her. |
![]() ![]() Sandiane Carter, I didn't know you were so cruel. You have made Castle suffer the loss of Beckett, brought in Kyra and at the end, after 2 years you are bringing back Beckett. I hate Kyra for her touching Rick again and trying to hate you a lttle but I've confidence in you. So, let's see. |
![]() ![]() I especially like how in this chapter you highlighted the fact that Castle, too, has been through trauma, and has issues to deal with as a result of it. It's good to see Kate recognizing that, and trying to help him. Castle's thoughtfulness about the shoes was a very good touch. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Brilliant story, Sandiane! Thank you so much for all your work on this, and thank you for sharing it here. As always, I look forward to reading your next story. Happy writing. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Last mystery solved, re-connection established, lovely resolution. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Now the various threads of the story begin to tie up, after the climax of last chapter. The visit to the McClearys was well-written, the mother's taking comfort in Kate's overture, the father reacting with angry grief. Also, Castle's discovery, and the way his return with coffee re-establishes something normal between them. This story has been well-plotted throughout, but I wanted to let you know that I think you're handling the falling action beautifully. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Great chapter. You're right to issue the heavy content warning, but this chapter is entirely necessary, with its difficult details, leading to that moment at the end. Very, very powerful writing here - and as moving as Chapter 1 was. Made me cry. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I like all the subtle ways this chapter shows how the anxieties they both have are affecting their lives, and yet the overall tone of the writing is light. Jerry Tyson leaves quite an aftermath in his wake, doesn't he? The scene in which Kate manages Castle's inclination towards whininess was very good - I liked the humor of it. Their passage through Customs at Toronto Airport went astonishingly smoothly - ah, the magic of fiction. |
