Once again gonna re-read this masterpiece, cause like when this fic single handedly made a Rayshipper then what else am i supposed to do? Like its practically my Gospel. The only other Rayshipping fic i Truely enjoy is Her Rival by Casual One, but that one is like peak pokemon fanfiction so i camt really compare it to other Rayshipping fics

This… this story was just incredible. I’ve read a ton on this website and I can easily say this is one of, if not my favorite story yet, and there have been some good ones. I feel like you portrayed all their personalities perfectly, and I loved the more madly in love/obsessive-possessive thing; as well as the fact that neither dated anyone before. There was a perfect amount of humor mixed in and overall the story just was satisfying, and mostly focused on the romance which I loved. All in all there are very few things I’d change about this story, and honestly I’d hope you could come up with some more stuff seeing as how it could be open ended considering it’s their whole life.

Today is Saturday - 12th February 2022. It's been 5 years and 9 months since this beautiful story was last updated.

To the author - I'm sure you have your reasons for not updating it for so long (like forgetting it exists and turning off email notifs for FFN). I wish you good luck with whatever you're doing now, and I hope you'll get back to this fic one day.

It's not the fact that this fic was abandoned that troubles me. It's the fact that this seems to have become a recurring trend in the Pokémon fandom. I look up a fic, click it, think "Hey, this looks good" only to find that it's been abandoned. I'm sure people have their reasons, but it just seems to always happen to the good fics. Especially good Pokémon fics.

I'm done with my mini-rant. I'll go back to reading now. I hope this gets updated eventually (the author promised 100 chapters in the summary). I hope that this trend of fic abandonment dies a horrible, slow and painful death.

All in all, this is certainly one of the best romance fanfics I have ever read.
Even though there's not any real storyline or plot development, this was a much more interesting read than many of the other stories out there proclaiming to have an actual plot. But then again, the lack of linear progression is probably what makes this piece of work so great.
Often, I've seen other Ash/Cyn fanfics fall down the path of having too many cliche moments or their romance feeling far too rushed. But this fanfic? Pretty much perfect. I love a good romance fanfic that leaves me feeling good afterwards. I know this won't be for everyone and not everyone will agree but this fanfic hit the mark perfectly in terms of what a good romance fanfic is for me.

It's crazy to think this was first published almost 8 years ago. This has been my first read-through and all I can wish for is to come back again in the future to reread this and experience the same joy as I did the first time through. I hope this review finds you in good-spirits and I wish you the best during these times of hardship.

This story was so fucking cute

Here I am 4 years later. I read this story when the 25th chapter came out and I really fell in love with this story. I'm still flabbergasted that this pairing isn't explored more considering how hot Cynthia is. Regardless, your ability to bring characters to life with small quirks is fascinating and admirable. Not only does it make the story more interesting to read, it opens so many pathways for character development. With this 4 year hiatus I am worried that you will never return to us Reid. I'm worried that I won't get any new jealous Cynthia or oblivious ash. I hope that one day I come back to this story for a reread and I am greeted by chapter 26. I can hope right?
