This was amazing story. I love the buildup and the character plot. (including that special person that was in very real danger, no spoilers) idk what that Gemini reviewer was saying (and actually never enjoyed a good fanfic either...) but I love that even though Edgeworth is a brick wall there are people out there that can break him down. I really love that both Phoenix and Miles has a slow burn and not rushing for the sexplot. it shows the last chapters were like a reward for us lol. other than that, I don't have any problems with this fic. I think this is a certified favorite in this fandom.

This story was a little eh, but it kept my attention for a few chapters before boring me. Firstly I think that the whole idea of miles going in a bar and getting with just anyone seems like a major stretch and extremely out of character, as "attractive" as they might be the pacing is extremely wonky there. It would've made more sense and add a bit more of a sense of betrayal if it was established that the "stalker" was someone miles knew more personally. But instead the sense of mystery is ruined because we know exactly who the stalker is from the start. Especially since it's common sense/hinted at that more often than not his sex drive is something he typically doesn't acknowledge, along with the idea of romance. I understand the stalker is meant to be portrayed as "crazy" however, he just seems more dumb than anything, if he were a proper 'honeypot' as he's mentioned to be it makes more sense that he would try to get into edgeworth's head through other means instead of borderline harassment after the initial meeting. It could've been later on in time and it would've made infinitely more sense and been more shocking. The pacing is super fucked. I also wonder, why couldn't he just block the stalkers number? Instead of lending his phone to authorities he keeps it, why? Why did he keep picking up those letters and reading his texts? It just doesn't really make sense to me and seems out of character and naive for someone of his status. Why would the 'demon' prosecutor get with just anyone anyway? What was stopping him from just ignoring those emotions and continuing with his work, as he does? There could've been some real buildup there if you handled the characters properly.

Fantastic story! I ended up staying up all night to read this. It is that good! I adore Miles/Phoenix shipping and the author kept me on edge until the very end!

A friend recomended this even passed complaints that I havw never even played/watched anything to do with this series. But I'm grateful she did because this was marvelous.

Wow. I don’t know what words to describe this story. It was absolutely amazing. I found myself unable to go to bed until I finished reading everything. Everything was just perfect. The pacing, the characterizing, the dialogues, the feelings. It’s as if I was inside it. Truly a masterpiece.

It's very hard to find a decent M-rated story that isn't just mindless sex, and actually has a story to tell.
Most M-stores are just porn. and make the horny teens go nuts.
here is actual emotionally driven story that has drama and feels. I actually Feel scared and sad when reading this.
I just don't Miles or Phoenix as the kind to just "start having sex" over the drop of a coin.
