| Bearmauls chapter 51 . 6/20/2020
Um, the good guys are idiots. They have an effectively unlimited fuel budget and magical cloaking spells. They could float down through the atmosphere nice and gentle on repulsors, no re-entry shock and no getting detected by ICBM early warning systems.

Um, not to be too utilitarian here, but if the alternative is the whole planet being permanently mind-controlled, collateral damage on a precision orbital strike is something that you just accept. Hell, if it means saving literally everybody else on the planet, turning the whole of England into a smoking crater would fall under the umbrella of acceptable losses.
| Bearmauls chapter 39 . 6/20/2020
It does seem rather odd that the heroes are just sort of... letting Britain basically fall to the darkside. No attempts at countering the narrative, no trying to enlist the help of other countries, no spying or covert ops... etc.

[but his shock at how blindingly intelligent she was still echoed in his voice.]
Damn, I swear, your worse than the movie directors with your Hermione propping. While they built her up beyond what the original novels depicted, at least her intelligence was being put on display. Here she could fart and go cross-eyed and it would likely be depicted as being as more sophisticated expression of flatulence. Literally the only thing she did that was praise worthy was use the word "levitate", and while she was young that just does not warrant the response you gave it. Also the story wouldve been better if it didnt focus on concurring prejudice but more on the Marauders just messing with stuffy career politicians. Sure, it was cool at first with the werewolf agenda but it wore out its welcome and became over inflated about around the point that Sirius sponsors Hermione. An unecessary and over the top addition to the story btw. If feel as if you do a disservice to Hermione and muggleborns by acting as if they cant survive without the aid of philanthropists. Theres nothing in cannon (to my knowledge) that shows mb's as being unable to provide for themselves. Geez, Author is pureblood and he's broke as hell. One last thing, id be way more offended being called mundane. The word your looking for is NoMage (sounds like no maj ).

I've always loved the 'fiction of some sort is a covert way to disseminate information' ploy.
| Bearmauls chapter 32 . 6/20/2020
Well that went downhill quickly. Honestly, too quickly. There probably should have been more buildup, especially given the clusterfuck that was Sirius' lack of trial. It should be even harder now than it was before for someone to send Aurors out without an investigation.

Proper information control and paying attention to your surroundings. Basic stuff, people!
| Bearmauls chapter 30 . 6/20/2020
I like this story, but the main characters seem to have some serious issues with information control.

Do they really believe the Minister can keep a secret? Especially from rich purebloods who may be Voldemort supporters? Telling him seems like the height of stupidity.
| Bearmauls chapter 23 . 6/20/2020
It just occurred to me, don't lightsabers need special force-attuned crystals to build? Not to mention a powerful and VERY compact power source? Where are they finding those on Earth? I wouldn't have thought 20th century tech was up to making one, even if Ahsoka knows the underlying physics.

Feels like they're being a bit open with information about the Jedi way and Ahsoka. If they're hoping her and the Jedi abilities are the trump card for dealing with Voldemort, putting that info out there rather diminishes the value. And they demanded oaths from people like the Weasleys, but just revealed it openly to Flitwick? Seems strange. I get Ahsoka wanting to train more Jedi, but you'd think she might want to start small with Harry and Hermione and open things up once Voldemort is dealt with.
| Bearmauls chapter 14 . 6/20/2020
Feels like Remus revealed WAY too much information to Albus, without necessarily getting much in return, and without knowing how trustworthy or involved he will be in the hunting of horcruxes. Felt like it didn't match how the conversation opened, with Remus being upfront about how he was resistant to mind-reading and imperious, implying he thinks Dumbledore might be willing to USE those methods.

“Language was anywhere near logical in structure ”yep totally. English is soooooo logical. Have fun trying to figure out this confusing and contradictory language Ahsoka!

Great story. I'm not going to read the Epilogues - I never do, I prefer to make my own image of what I think is in the future - but I still loved this story. It was new, interesting and unique - very rare in Harry Potter fanfiction.
