ChuckDawg61 chapter 1 . 8/7 They weren’t tested, she was tested and it gave her pause. |
kikijacobi chapter 10 . 4/5/2023 Well that was just perfect. It felt so honest, real and authentic. And the ending ... wow. ️ And thank you for bringing Gates in! I just love that woman. No idea why she gets so much hate, she's amazing! |
grimmich chapter 10 . 4/13/2022 Seriously? She's not sure if it cause Vaughn showed up?! If she paid any attention to the fact he froze AFTER he asked, then she would know the answer to that question. A giant NO. And Vaughn is laying it on thick, Kate is shit in social anything. I am glad she told him to fuck off though. Its weird that Rick went from thunder clouds to proposing though...IMO |
grimmich chapter 9 . 4/13/2022 The question now is: with Vaughn walking into the room did Kate even /hear/ Rick's question or was she distracted by /his/ arrival? |
grimmich chapter 8 . 4/13/2022 this chapter had Castle put downs from all three women again. Why is it so hard for people to treat him fairly? |
grimmich chapter 7 . 4/13/2022 Rick wasn't taking her for granted and its making me crazy that he is saying it now because she says that how /she/ felt. 'he thought he was such a quick study' - well so did you until lanie pointed out how stupid you were being. And I am REALLY sick of 'my mom's murder'. Ok tragedy struck when you were 19, you are not the first person to loose someone unfairly that never got closure but you walk around with it pinned on your shirt like a badge and a shield all in one. Like somehow it absolves you of all blame of wrong doing because hey, you had a traumatic event. no. It always bugs me when people say he lives with his mother. No, she lives with him. It's his house, he earned it working his ass off as he raised Alexis... 'I see you looking castle' - but you don't see him ACTING do you? you ACTED, he has a right not to trust you especially when you are only saying you did something wrong in an effort to make Rick move to a new topic, not because you actually think it was wrong. I don't really see Kate as an Alpha, I see her as more of a rouge wolf without a real pack. behavior wise AND literally, after all how many times has she gone rouge now? An Alpha takes care of their pack, she only takes care of (is only capable of taking care of) herself. She has shown time and again TERRRIBLE judgement in her leadership role, willing to sacrifice others for her own gains as we saw when she only took Javi with her to confront Maddox and left Javi unconscious to chase him to the roof along with other instances. Metrosexual just means a straight man that cares about appearance, its no where near a fair comparison. Rick is an alpha in his own right, just because he isn't always the strongest person in the room doesn't disclude him (don't forget he can hold is own more than well enough), and he is often the most CUNNING person in the room. He provides for his 'pack', both at home and at the precinct. He is comfortable in his own skin (which only a true alpha pulls off without all the flexing) and wields considerable power through his connections. Honestly he is FAR more qualifying of the title alpha than Kate is. I think its bullshit that he is just going to swallow his problems so they can be together, that is NOT a healthy relationship and if he does just swallow it then it solves nothing and the relationship will fail. I thought she only had the 20 in her sock, which would have been gone with 'breakfast'. XD I love that the men just ganged up on the women, about time! She is seriously picking a fight over this and blaming it on him! Her biggest issue seems to be that Gates thinks they live together, but she wants to bitch about commitment from Rick when she doesn't even want to admit that she practically DOES live with him! He doesn't need her forgiveness and why the hell is it ok for her to say shit like 'don't do it again' but not for him?! |
grimmich chapter 6 . 4/13/2022 ...becuase she respects his orivacy too much... Bull shit. Its because she didn't care to ask or know. |
grimmich chapter 5 . 4/13/2022 So Rick needs to cool down, but she wants to start talking /now/ and keeps pressuring him... but when she's upset at something he says she speed walks so /she/ can cool down that's fine, because its her... His mother only knew part of the story, Alexis knew none of the story and neither of them are the gossip girls of 12th precinct like Javi and Lanie are proven to be. So no touché about it. |
grimmich chapter 4 . 4/12/2022 Alexis and Martha aren't taking sides?! What kind of crack is she smoking? And then Martha goes on to dog his previous relationships to her?! Either ONE of Rick's marriages probably lasted longer than Martha's longest four relationships put together. I LOVE that Rick was firm with both Martha and Alexis sticking their nose where it doesn't belong and trying to blame him for everything. Martha is just pulling the feminist bullshit of 'women stick together' (I am a woman I get to call it bullshit if I want) or in other terms 'hoes before bros'... And Rick is right about Alexis, she doesn't know what she is talking about. Her longest relationship was Ashley and they couldn't survive the evolution to a more adult relationship from their high school puppy love. If his feelings are to be taken seriously then maybe 'childish and or petulant' is not an adjectives you should have in mind when writing him... just saying when the word childish or petulant comes out everyone stops seeing that he has a legitimate reason to be upset... |
grimmich chapter 3 . 4/12/2022 ... may sound petty but I'd probably have gotten up to sleep on the couch if I was him. |
grimmich chapter 2 . 4/12/2022 I forgot to add in the other chapter in response to her tramp comment: She said it no him, sounds telling to me... This ch review: Not sure if their serious but she has a key to his loft and several pairs of shoes in his coat closet? We remember how 'I'll call you' turned out last time. too exhausted now- she was the one that just /had/ to have the conversation /right then/... Martha is not exactly the paragon of advice for or about women, lets just look at the fact that her son had to take her in because her husband ran off with her money and since then has had a string of short term affairs... And YES she absolutely did betray him. You can love someone and still betray them. /SHE/ is the one pushing for commitment?! No she is LOOKING for a reason to RUN and if she thinks Rick is trying to hold out then that is her reason. And then throwing that bitch that sexually assaulted him in his face? Fuck you Martha! Rick tried to stop it from happening, Kate LET it happen, big difference. |
grimmich chapter 1 . 4/12/2022 Part of what bugged me in this episode is her assumption that he was taking her for granted. He wasn't, relationships evolve. After a while the sex slows down to human levels instead of rabbit levels and the couple picks back up hobbies they laid off in the honey moon phase. A couple cannot spend work and personal life together 24/7, its not good for a relationship to be together /all/ the time that is how co-dependencies are built which isn't healthy for anyone. Rick was just comfortable enough with the relationship to not feel threatened by not spending every second draped over her, what does it say about /her/ that she still needs to be constantly reassured about their relationship? That at the first sign of Rick not hanging on her every movement she cheats? And not just cheats, but cheats with a man that /is/ everything she /accused/ Rick of being in the first season (and swore she wouldn't be a notch on someone's bedpost)? Its also really hypocritical of her to call him out for his past relationships (marriage or otherwise) because she almost always has someone warming /her/ bed. Her internal musing are correct, she is being immature and unrealistic to expect them to do nothing but have sex. Yes, sex is healthy for a relationship, but it should not be the focus of a relationship. Ah and then her 'this was a test for us.' No honey, that was a test for /you/ and /you/ FAILED miserably. Taking into account the original order of the episodes, you see it from another perspective: Kate was fine and happy (talking about her stale comment), felt the intrigue and sexiness when no one knew they were together (or pretended not to know), but a few weeks after they are allowed to publicly acknowledge it the spark is gone. Sounds more like she got off on them being a secret than the fact they were together. It was all about the dirty little secret for her IMO I have to agree with Rick, she felt appreciated and understood by someone that barely talked to her for 5 minutes? And she can't tell if they are serious but they have been together for a /year/? How many relationships make it that long without being serious? Also agree that it WAS cheating. Emotional AND physical. She made intimate contact with a man that was not her significant other, that IS cheating. Cheating is cheating is cheating no matter the degree. Finally: she had to pack a bag from the bathroom to go home, which means most of her toiletries are there, but she is still questioning how serious the relationship is/was? Is it only considered serious AFTER you get married for her? |
Planecrazylex chapter 1 . 2/27/2022 Amazing. Thank you! |
Vishw chapter 9 . 8/29/2021 They were behaving like that in the presence of the elevator operator? :O And Vaughn? Yikes! |
Vishw chapter 6 . 8/29/2021 See? Talking helps! Lazy-ass writers! Almost dying 20 times wasn't enough that they needed swarmy Vaughn & Job in DC to push these two? What a load of crap! Btw why wasn't Kate traumatized even a little bit by the sniper shot barely inches from her? Remember her during Killshot? |
