Wow you came back with a vengeance. I hope Angela gets well, but then what happens to her marriage? Edward must feel so helpless in every facet of his life. He has no control over his wife's illness or Bella's hold on his life. Twisted tale indeed.

It was a bit hard to follow what each of them is truly feeling. Now Jake comes through clear as a bell. He loves her, more than a friend and wants her. But Bella, for all her power and superior financial prowess, for her masterminding and corporate takeovers, she wants to feel sexually submissive ...and it seems like only to Edward. But, is it becoming more than just performing the act? Is she wanting to go through the motions of helping Angela, but inwardly wanting her to die?

And Edward, with the way he wouldn't look at Ang the whole trip, wouldn't really talk to her and just going through the motions like it was his duty, it it out of guilt, bc of what he has done, since he brought up fidelity? He obviously has some physical desires for Bella, but the whole blackmail think is so messed up, just feels like a means to an end for both of them. Confusing.

Hope you return and some progress is made, some clarity presented!

I'm so glad to see you posting again. This story is such an interesting reading experience for me - it provokes all sorts of jumbled up, contradictory reactions and emotions. It makes me uncomfortable, and I can't say I like the characters, but I like the story. That's a job well done on your part. Thanks for coming back to it. Well I still care. Not sure where these characters are going and I still hope for a HEA for these two together although I'm not sure that's what will happen. So glad for this update. I have missed this story.
