|Reviews for What They Fear|
| edgy wedgy chapter 2 . 2/9/2004
Even better. Or maybe just as good. Both are appealing.
| edgy wedgy chapter 1 . 2/9/2004
AHAHAHAHHAHA! I tend to do that a lot nowadays. Perhaps because I'm "surrounding" myself with intelligent people. (Oh crap, I sound like Lady Che-something from An Ideal Husband) This was really funny. It's like those old tribal competitions to seize power. It's good.
| Nebulae chapter 2 . 10/15/2003
It's nice. Some parts were really funny, some parts seemed to have some spelling trouble (but only one or two words in the whole thing that I noticed), and others were, eh, so-so. But mostly, it was just funny. I liked the bit with Freud.
| Kawaii Elf Girl chapter 2 . 9/12/2003
Elf-Girl: (shaking in horror) Ai', ai! Evil evil Freud! It makes me think of evil book we read in school.. THE CHOSEN! AH!
Kogura: I have a present for Legolas! Tus a well known fact that 9/10 elves are pyros! Right Elf-Girl? Um, Elf-Girl?
Elf-Girl: (too busy playing with a lighter to notice) O_o O..
Kogura: Anyway, here Legolas! A lighter for you! -
Gloriollass: Ai', now a fate worse than anything Sauron or Saruman could cook up shall befall the Fellowship... But I wonder, Legolas is an elf so he wont burn trees... What is he going to burn?
(They hear Boromir screaming in the background, "MY CLOAK IS ON FIRE! MY CLOAK IS ON FIRE! HELP!)
Kogura Gloriollass: O_o;;
Elf-Girl: (too busy playing with her lighter to notice)
| Veilius chapter 2 . 8/29/2003
OMG! That was SO funny! LMAO!
I loved Boromir's conversations with Galadriel.
And then "Sock puppets"! XD
| PrincessEilonwy chapter 2 . 6/26/2003
Oh, that was great. Fangirls and sock puppets? The whole Aragorn/Boromir misunderstanding was priceless! I can't put down everything I liked about this story, but one of the things was that you put accent marks in the right places every time. Finally, somebody who cares about the accent marks!
| The Chesire Cat chapter 2 . 5/17/2003
Sock puppets? How humiliating . . .
| Gypsie Rose chapter 1 . 4/8/2003
Funny that you just reviewed "Debbie Does The Two Towers," since I found this a day or two ago and was meaning to write a review for it! This is one of the funniest things I've read in a long time. I had the most awful time not laughing out loud at work and giving myself away during Boromir's mental conversation with Galadriel.
(Very glad you liked DDT! To answer your question, the title is from an infamous old porn movie which I have not seen, called "Debbie Does Dallas.")
| Gypsie Rose chapter 2 . 4/8/2003
Loved it! Especially the ending-as an Aragorn "fangirl", I can appreciate that! I hope you'll write more humorous pieces for us!
| hmsgirl chapter 2 . 3/18/2003
Sock puppets? Aragorn's afraid of Sock puppets?* falls off chair laughing* Frodo's afraid of spiders (of course, I am too), What's Merry and Pippin afraid of?
| Inconsequential chapter 2 . 3/17/2003
Consider your day brightened! This was a most hilarious out-of-character fic. Sock puppets? Fangirlphobia? Wouldn't it have been funny if Legolas was extremely claustrophobic in the Mines? Your story was great, though. I wouldn't change a thing, though I was disappointed not to see everyone's phobia! What about Sam and Merry? Oh, well.
Let me see if I can guess their phobias:
Frodo- arachniphobia (is that really a phobia?)
Legolas- either agorophobia(fear of crowds of fangirls, at least) or fangirlphobia
Aragorn- pretty evident
Pippin- no phobia, but psychopathy. Odd...
Well, was I right? Or am I a complete idiot? or both?
I think the answer is both.
| rogue solus chapter 2 . 2/19/2003
| Lithrath chapter 2 . 2/11/2003
That was priceless. Best after school entertainment indeed (majorkami likes it too).
M.K: I laughed so hard I scared my kitty.
SIE: Now we will read more of your stuff. s'you!
| Oddwen Floddball chapter 2 . 2/10/2003
Hmmmmm, interesting. :)
| The Postmodern Prometheus chapter 1 . 1/27/2003
I've been stewing quite a bit over that last review - I really hope it came across as constructive criticism instead of me trying to flame you or accuse you of plagarism. I wasn't accusing you of anything like that, and I really did love the story. I hope you're not mad at me.
