A good fic.

This epilogue is one of THE best endings I've seen on this site. It's not even complicated! It's simple, yet so, so fitting. It's beautiful. Gets me every time. Bury the past, face the future but never forgo your present.

That was so sweet.

That was so sweet! The scene where Wheatley recognizes her for the first time was so emotional. I absolutely love this fic's resolution, as well. They've completely put the past behind them and are ready to move on. This is the kind of ending I want for them.

Alright, I know this is a really old fic and you probably won't even see this, but I wanted to tell you anyways that I really really love this fic! I was talking about how cool I thought The Little core AU was (Portal/The little mermaid crossover AU, Wheatley is Ariel) and my friend suggested this fic to me because it has Wheatley being turned into a human and becoming mute and all that
so I read it and seriously the writing and the pacing is so good, A problem I see in a lot of fics is the pacing is too fast but sometimes it'll be too slow, it's rare to see one where it's as perfect as it is here!
also I don't know exactly how to describe it but this story has a really nice feel to it, I feel so content by the end like it's a very calming but engaging story
I also like how Chell's a farmer, I always love fics where Chell lives in the country, sometimes it even kinda annoys me when people put her in a big city or something like no, let Chell farm. Idk weird thing to point out but it's just something I really like to see.
Anyways mute!Wheatley is a seriously interesting concept I'd love to see more of in a non-Wheatley-torture-fic kind of way and I'm so glad there is a fic with such good writing that tackles it!

The gravestones marking the end of Chell and Wheatley's past, plus graves for the other cores was absolutely Brilliant. It was so beautiful and sweet, that I was failing at holding back tears. Simply brilliant.

A friend recced me this story, and I'm glad to say she was completely right about it. :D. You know, I wondered about this scenario too, of what would have happened if Chell and Wheatley found each other and he wouldn't be able to talk, and therefore Chell wouln't know who he is, so I was extremely happy to read your fic. Your narrative was very well done, and I liked how you managed to convey so many emotions and most of the times without even using dialogue! I imagine it was very hard to manage to describe what Wheatley, someone who usually relays so much on speaking, would feel by just describing his body language and expressions. I especially loved when he realizes who Chell was, and of course, the climax of the story left me with a lot of fluffly feelings inside. The epilogue was so sweet and really fitting to the tone of the story, and a perfect closure for both of them.
I absolutely loved how Chell was someone so compassionate here, and the idea of Wheatley as a human puppy was incredible sweet. Loved how he ended focusing on discovering his true self, raising from the ashes of his old robotic self.
Thannnnnk you sooooo much for this nice, sweet, amazing story! I had quite a lovely time reading it, and I surely wil be reccing this lovely fic to my friends too! :D

Normally I find most of the Chelley fics on here to be kind of boring, but this one caught my interest. Good job!
