Although I am truly enjoying this story, I am confused about one thing. Why did she go to the party with "McMeathead" when she never actually agreed to the date? Just because he said she was going with him, doesn't mean she had to comply.
I understand her wanting to see Severus, but I am somewhat disturbed by her thoughts earlier that she couldn't come up with a good enough excuse to refuse him. What is it with some people thinking they owe it to others to make them happy and need an excuse not to. It's okay to make yourself happy too.

So I know this is an older fic but I have been reading HP fan fiction since 2003 so… anyway, Severus and Hermione is my OP ship and I have to say…. This story has become my number one favorite SSHG fic ever! It was the perfect pacing, the perfect length, no one was overly OC, and the way it covered HBP and DH was very realistic in my opinion. Overall an excellent job! I love it

No matter how many times I’ve read it, I always have a good time when reading. Especially the later part. I would say It’s perfect!
