Its hard for books or stories to make me cry. But you, you have made this girl teary-eyed. This is a fantastic story. I forgot that it was a fanfic about Soul Eater. You kept the personalities of the characters while adding their own unique survival instinct. I was completely engulfed in the story from beginning to end; never once was there a dull part. Take pride in this story, you deserve it.

*exhales slowly* That was an absolutely incredible conclusion to an intense and moving story! You actually had me wondering if Maka was going to make it for a minute there...just a tiny one, but a moment nonetheless. The relationship between Maka and Soul just got better with each chapter, and your ability to make me tense and nervous while reading is unparalleled. I loved the ending - absolutely beautiful and fitting and necessary. Thank you for making my Monday a million times better!

I NEED A SEQUAL!

This is probably my favorite zombie AU fic I've read in any fandom. You did an awesome job, I thoroughly enjoyed it, and while satisfied I'm also sad to see it end. Bravo to a fic well done! Perfect blend of humor, pathos, action, and sheer badassery.

Most amazing, spectacularly written zombie AU I've ver had the privilege of stumbling upon!

First off, sorry that I am doing this the lazy way and reviewing the whole story with one review instead of going from chapter to chapter. This story is, simply put, amazing. Even though I knew you'd end this story not tragically, I was still apprehensive and scared whenever something bad happened to the characters, especially this last bit where Maka gets separated from them and how she says everything she never said through the radio and urgh. You have done a marvellous job with her characterization: she was still Maka, a very broken Maka that had seen too much shit to function like her normal self, but she was still brave and selfless and cared about the others. I loved how naturally Soul and Maka got together because seeing as they are in the midst of a zombie apocalypse you could have just made them bang because of comfort or because they don't know if they will live any longer, but you didn't do that. Maka fell for him because Soul is a genuinely good person, because despite his crippling fear he did his best to help. It was a very sweet way for them to fall for each other.

I also can't stress enough how much I love that in the end it was them handling this together, mirroring their partnership in the canon. The bomb that was a morbid product of the both of them and the ultimate cure in the end with Soul's and Maka's blood together. Sure, they have both survived for a long time on their own terms and they are both very strong alone, but together they are unstoppable!

The way you incorporated all the other characters was also well done. I would have never thought I'd get so many sad feels because of Harvar's death. It was cruel how he died right after he and Maka formed this shaky friendship. It just shows even if Soul and Maka are going to make it out alive and relatively unharmed, the same doesn't apply to the others and you still know how to tug at your readers' heartstrings by developing the side characters so well that we still mourn their deaths. Their deaths never felt like a cheap attempt to shock or to artificially create some sadness; they were people, they felt real and their deaths were all the more heart-wrenching because of that.

Also, I love, love, love the ending paragraph!

I absolutely adore this story and it will remain one of my eternal favorites.

There's going to be an epilogue, rigth? Please! I want to know about the future! I LOVE your story, I really enjoy it. Thanks!
