Spooths chapter 21 . 2/2/2017 I accidentally submitted my review before I was done. Whoops. But as I was saying, I went on far too long with that. I don't even remember what my original point was going to be, as I've been writing this off and on for the past few days. Also did I mention that there's technically only supposed to be Time Lords in the prime universe and the don't actually have alternative versions of themselves? Although a good way to get around this would to say that this is set not in another/alternate universe but in an alternative timeline. Normally, the web of time would correct any alternate timelines of that nature, but part of the last time war was that most of the higher beings actually fled reality. If we assume that the Guardians of Time also left, then when the Time Lords destroyed the time vortex (although that was actually something they made) the could have broken the web of time. Without any Guardians to repair it, alternate timelines could form all over the place. So you could use some sort of sci-fi babble like that to explain it. That'd be very cool! I don't even know what the point of this comment was tbh. Sorry? I Remain, Spooths |
Spooths chapter 23 . 2/2/2017 Fucking Steven moffat and his stupid rewriting of canon. I hate him so much. Not only does he suck at writing cohesive stories, he seems to feel the need to fuck everything up. The 50th Anniversary episode was fucking garbage. The timelords were evil. It's as simple as that. Did he not watch The End of Time, not to mention all of the show before then? They were corrupt assholes who had billions of years of basically infinite power over the universe. I mean, the earliest time Lords literally rewrote the laws of the universe. I mean, holy fuck. Omega tried to destroy the universe after Rassilon locked him in an antimatter dimension or something. And Rassilon himself was just nuts. He'll, even the Doctor is a bit nuts. While he is a "good guy" he's committed multiple genocides throughout the show. And the 50th Anniversary talking about the number of people on Gallifrey and shit. There were never even close to a billion time Lords. First of all, most Gallifreyans (or however you spell it) were not Time Lords. Time Lord was a social status that granted you the ability to regenerate. And there were no children at that point. Because they're sterile, Gallifreyans use looms to reproduce. And during the time war, the used "war looms" to rapidly breed Gallifreyan soldiers. However they were kind of mutated monstrosities. And let's not forget that they really aren't good people. The Time Lords essentially ruled the universe with nigh absolute power. Above them in the universal food chain were eternals which were almost gods. there were beings from before the universe, called Great Old Ones, that had survived the destruction of the previous universe and continued to exist in the new one. They include beings such as The Toymakers, the gods of Ragnorok, the Great Intelligence, and the Cthulhu mythos. There are also beings called The Guardians of Time which come from outside of all universes ever and they are personifications of different concepts. There are 6 of them, with the Black and White Guardians beings the main two. They were essentially omnipotent, however they were forbidden from directly interfering in the multiverse. They were created by a race known as "The Grace" who existed outside of the multiverse and held it together. They're basically the in universe representation of the show's writers. Oops. I went on rea |
Dracomancer1 chapter 23 . 1/30/2017 I'm stunned, I just have no words for how brilliant this story is, the raw emotions it evokes. This takes its place among the treasured stories that I hold dear. You've done some truly great work. |
Khaleesi chapter 1 . 1/23/2017 I absolutely loved it. Just loved it. I was just blown away by how well written and constructed everything was and how it all came together. The ending was perfect! It really got me thinking. I have no idea how you came up with it, but it made so much sense really. Sorry it took me so long to read. I was missing out! :) |
cierra.naeger chapter 1 . 1/22/2017 I loved it! And I just had to say that your story was beautifully done. Thank You for shairing it with me. |
Zexs chapter 23 . 1/21/2017 What a tale you have woven. Writing the Doctor is probably one of the hardest characters you can tackle and you absolutely nailed it. The revel of Q being the Doctor that blinked when he stared in to the abyss worked was brilliant I just wish we could have seen more of Q throughout the story. I look forward to reading your future works. |
Annabeth316 chapter 23 . 1/14/2017 Question: Is your username going to be the same, and if not, what is it? I love this book so much and you definitely deserve a follow! (I'm on Wattpad too) |
The Pyridian chapter 22 . 12/14/2016 This story is Incredible! Thanks for posting it! |
GDIMartok chapter 22 . 12/6/2016 This is a very very good story I love you managed to connect the two universe together, little disappointed that -enterprise- series was in it and DS9 wasn't (hate enterprise series with a passion) but TOS, next gen, and voyager were good. :) But yeah loved how you made it feel like the two universes were actually parallel, very impressive! |
Guest chapter 22 . 10/13/2016 This is, without question, the best fanfiction I have ever read. |
