This is awesome. You really captured the tone of the story and Roman's voice. In fact, you've really made me think about how Roman's life is a kind of purgatory, where he is suspended between heaven and hell. Deep down he knows what he wants, but he also knows or believes he doesn't deserve it.

You convey all this in this short story. He really is bleeding, all over everything and it won't ever stop. *curls up in a corner with her Roman feels*

I can't stop smiling. Not only have you introduced me to the world of Hemlock Grove, but also we get to see your words again. I haven't watched the series yet, and have read only about a third of the book so far, but I get it. You have brilliantly captured the essential Romacek (while leaving me wanting much, much more), and you manage to pack so much into such a short passage. As always, I'm in awe of your writing.
