| Ersatz Einstein chapter 1 . 8/30/2013
This has some grammatical issues (mostly your overuse of hyphens), but I really enjoyed reading it, especially the last line.
| Laura Kay chapter 1 . 12/5/2009
Thanks for writing this great story and giving us such a fresh image of these two characters. I loved the way you wrote them, I think you did an amazing job of staying true to them and the way they both think. I really appreciate the look into this aspect of their relationship. Fantastic job!
| prettydynamic chapter 1 . 8/9/2008
Thanks for writing a story with Sharona. I've always felt she was more caring. Monk needs not only a friend but someone with a medical background. It will help him get better easier and sooner.
| vanillabuzz chapter 1 . 6/16/2008
This was great. I have some phobias-never as many as Adrian though-and OCD about several things, so I relate to Monk so much. It was so good to read a fanfic that deals with it in a non-comedic way. I especially loved when you write: "After all, he was subject to constant ridicule for his visible symptoms (...)" because that pisses me off so much when it happens in the show. Thank you for this fic, it's awesome. And thank you for not linking him romantically to Sharona!
| Cyra Bergen chapter 1 . 3/12/2008
Very, very good...
| Nora Freeze chapter 1 . 2/1/2008
I enjoyed this very much. Well done. Eerie, and realistic at the same time.
| Knightgirl4Jack chapter 1 . 9/14/2006
I love it! Great fic. Love it!
| D.W. Vean chapter 1 . 1/19/2006
This is one of the very best Monk fan fictions on the net.
Better than some of the actual episodes.
| Critic chapter 1 . 2/14/2005
I only got halfway through (gotta log off) but it was like for a minute I could almost imagine how it would feel to be him. I think that this is appropriate, especially after Feb. 11's new eppie. It's almost like he's normal by now... it's weird... usually one HESITATES before leaning out a speeding car's window.
| Hoodoo chapter 1 . 1/9/2005
Thank you very much for a very well written, very touching piece. Though I've never written a Monk fic, I have had a picture in my head that Adrian would subject himself to scaling water, so I was glad to see another author had the same thought.
| IQEnigma chapter 1 . 9/18/2004
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
It's always wonderful to see someone who understands how to write about a close friendship and DOESN'T have to turn it into romance. You also did a nice job giving Monk some dignity in his condition.
Good job, I enjoyed reading your story very much.
| calogan chapter 1 . 8/17/2004
Simply beautiful and really shows how it sometimes looks. I love the whole idea. What can I say? Thank you :)
| Smackalicious chapter 1 . 7/2/2004
I just saw this and read it, and, wow, this is intense. I'm close to crying right now (there's also a slower song on the radio right now, too, so that doesn't help any). You don't see a lot of stories talking about how Sharona feels. Very sad, but very well-written.
| nomadff7 chapter 1 . 6/24/2004
I loved this story very much. It was so sad, yet so realistic. I liked how you showed the more depressing side of Monk's illness rather than playing it for laughs. I think you kept the characters very much in-character; I could really see them come alive in this story. I look foward to reading more of your work in the future. I hope that I'm not too late to review this, because you posted it over a year ago. Oh well, better late than never, right?
| MinnieLover chapter 1 . 5/19/2004
