...while trying to kill the spies is the right move, you'd think they'd be more worried about the consequences of said spies escaping, and planning contingencies for that happening. namely, getting the hell off of Omega before a full scale invasion by both the Alliance and Yahg comes to make an example out of them and everyone else on the station.

and Moon & Sheppard in one group? that wouldn't fly, having the CO and XO in one group rather than each leading a group. it would have made more sense for Moon, Sheppard, and Benson to each lead a group.

...The Putin? what next, going to name a ship after Stalin? or Mao? maybe Tojo?

as for Javik, meh. he was an asshole, anyway.

So, while i realize they were only expecting the Batarians, who are a second rate power at best, only 5 dreadaughts? seriously?

also, how you going to kill Garrus and his family like that? their deaths should have been far more epic. you going to do Wrex dirty like that too? or Mordin?

and how do the Batarians of all people merit being turned into one of the big ships? they were pathetic.

and someone is a star trek fan, given the name of the mars colony and the captain of the ship being named Pike. surprised you didn't go with Archer or Kirk.

This story is good, if a little depressing, because what I liked most about ME is not around anymore (Tali and the Quarians, Wrex and the Krogans... at least the Rachni survived)... I hope you'll eventually continue this story.

First let me say this is a great story, and even though I am nearing the end of what will likely ever be posted I am glad I found it. And I think you for writing it.

The end of this chapter does not make much sense to me, the Yahg found them? How? unless the Quarian told the Yahg or they can track the stealth ship how could they possibly have found them?
