| Jordy Trent chapter 1 . 2/23/2016
Beautiful, brilliant. Your writing is really something. You took a simple concept from the game and made it REAL and heartfelt.
I've been a fan of your Elder Scrolls fics since Oblivion - can I ask what happened to 'Flowers Known and Unknown?' I was looking to re-read it the other day and it seems to have vanished.
| RadioCKat chapter 1 . 12/14/2015
Awwwwwwww... My brother got me hooked on Skyrim ages ago, and he didn't seem to understand why I felt bad for the NPC orphans. "Meh, they're just computer games, I'm stupid, MEH!" Dammit, they are adorable children who where FRIGGIN ABANDONED!
| AuxLexikon chapter 1 . 4/2/2015
This story was adorable and heart-warming in all of its fluffy glory! I've been scouring Skyrim fics for ones with adoption!feels, and this was perfect! Great writing style, enough detail to paint a vivid picture without delving into purple prose, and well-placed highlights of humor. Well crafted!
| LaniusLegioXIII chapter 1 . 9/27/2014
Amazing writing style; the narrative was superb and your story flowed effortlessly.
It’s the little and usually dismissed details that make a story really come to life.
I really enjoyed reading your fic.

| A Dozen Lemmings chapter 1 . 9/10/2013
Ooh this is good. If you wrote more I'd definitely read it.
| Kelenloth chapter 1 . 7/22/2013
This is utterly terrific. I haven't read too many Elder Scroll fics, but this is the best I real. I love how realistic it is, without being overbearing. I also love the characterizations you've given and just everything! Watching the Dragonborn adjust to the idea of a home, and still having his old enemies. I love the simple story telling style, the heartwarming view of fatherhood, and also how you were anle to use the Fragonborn in a way that had real character, but I could still imagine him as my own character. Very nice!
| Cynn chapter 1 . 6/7/2013
I loved it ! :)
| Billy Killman chapter 1 . 6/4/2013
This was a wonderful story. I really enjoyed it. I usually am not one for a family friendly, heart warming story, but this was beautiful. Good job I applaud you.
| FloridaMagpie chapter 1 . 6/4/2013
Just beautiful. There's far too little work here about the joys and agonies of parenthood, but this is as good as fiction gets on the subject. Bravo.
| xogs chapter 1 . 6/3/2013
Wow, this is amazing, Cris. I love how homey it is. I'd be interested in hearing more about this Dragonborn.
| Y-ko chapter 1 . 6/2/2013
Pretty good. You did a nice job giving the children unique personalities. I'm more a fan of stories where the Dragonborn turns crazy with power and falls away from humanity, but fluff is a nice break every now and then.
I don't know how everyone else finds the good prompts. All I ever get is porn.
| Bramblespite chapter 1 . 6/2/2013
Awww, what a wonderful little story! The bit with the courier cracked me up, and Lydia's long-suffering bemusement at having orphans dumped on her. But at least the Dragonborn comes home again to interact with his kids, and the kids help out, so she can't be too annoyed. :)
Your writing is, as always, beautiful. I hope you post more fic soon!
| Quillweave chapter 1 . 6/2/2013
adjksf Your writing always has such power behind it and it makes those simple moments that make up a life so BIG and realistic and it just feels right! I can always so easily slip into the mindset of the people you write about because you do it so vividly. AWESOME. *insta-fav*
