![]() ![]() You do realise the Bingley family is new money? They are from trade, not the gentry. |
![]() ![]() There’s no way that Bingley or Caroline would be able to attend Almack's, the lady patronesses would never allow them in with their trade money. |
![]() ![]() ![]() This was such a fun read! I'm back years later for a re-read and I enjoyed every minute. Wow, that revenge on Caroline was harsh! I loved your Darcy and Elizabeth. Thanks for writing this and sharing it with us! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Outstanding! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Awesome chapter! Extremely fun to see Darcy and Bingley treated like blackguards. Especially poor Bingley. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Uff you gave me a fright in this chapter! For a moment I really thought Darcy would forbid himself to return to Hertfordshire, and that he wouldn't see Elizabeth until next spring in Kent. This Elizabeth would have been crushed if he jilted her, and I'm not sure she would have forgiven him. I love this story, great work so far! |
![]() ![]() Well that was lovely! The best of these characters, imo, is how the noble and good nature in them is brought forward by the other, you've done them credit and Jane Austin too. Thanks for this. |
![]() ![]() Asshole Colonel sponging off Darcy while fawning over women and targeting a rich one |
![]() ![]() You write stupid stories with stupid characters and then complain about plagiarism |
![]() ![]() Jane Bennett is a simpleton,a fool with no accomplishments accept for her beauty. What an awful end and the payback was pathetic. Poorly written nonsense |
![]() ![]() You aren't Jane Austen, but if there was ever an author of pp fanfiction worthy of comparison it is you! As one who has read your endeavors over and over and *knowing from all the other hundreds of comments that i am not alone in this estimation*, I would just like to say again, thank you for sharing your talents. You should know how genuinely you leave us smiling and content for hours and days after reading your work. And that your works comes to mind when life needs a little elevating and we know that re reading them will do that for us, again! Very much, like i have often felt after reading Jane Austen's works. |
![]() ![]() ![]() This is such a perfect story! |
![]() ![]() ![]() this is one of the best stories I've ever read |
![]() ![]() ![]() "... it starts, with an attraction, a growing affection, and a choice to continue loving ..." This describes my 40 year marriage perfectly, especially that last part. A successful relationship is a choice that you make again and again. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I am enjoying your story 'Overheard' tremendously! Thank you for sharing it. I hope you continue to write more, if real life allows. |
