Apparently I posted my previous comment on chapter 38 by mistake ... This was what I wanted to say after actually reading the most recent bit -

I love how Kana is trying her best. All of her visits with gaara were such a nice touch! And she only knows so much of what is going on- it makes things interesting.

Now that kakashi is hokage it will be interesting to see what further changes happen. Because kakashi has a pretty decent knowledge of root and how messed up it is - at least I think he did in the anime? Though he may not know how much of it is still around. I feel like he would take steps to make sure it was gone.

And very curious to see what Tobirama and hashirama sticking around for a bit might do too!

This is one of the most poorly constructed SI fics I’ve read. The SI having a brother is just a shit plot device, their mother being that character was also obviously made to be surprising but just fell flat. Character building and situations arising are also boring as fuck.
