I am really enjoying every chapter. You do an amazing job with the characters and their interactions. I loke how Rei is developing and Asuka seems be a bit less abrasive. What I'm really interested in is how Shinji and Rei's relationship will change the rest of the story.

REALLY GOOD I ENJOYED THIS CHAPTER SO MUCH MORE THAN THE LAST ONE, GOOD IDEA WITH ASUKA THE WAY THEY MEET ITA WAS REALLY COOL. SOMETHING SMELLS BAD WITH GENDO AND RITSUKO WHAT IS HE UP TO?. I REALLY ENJOY WHERE THIS STORY IS HEADING THANKS AGAIN FOR ANOTHER GREAT CHAP AS ALWAYS TAKE AS MUCH TIME AS YOU NEED FOR THE NEXT ONE

I am enjoying it quite a bit and go ahead and hammer things home with a sledge! If Shinji ever does manage to say no to Rei it will be funny.

Wouldn't it be interesting if the Commanders replaced this Rei and within a short time ALL of these memoris and feeling were transferred to that Rei, to ALL the Rei's?

Also would 'His' Rei being so different make this Shinji more Gendo-ish in that he maybe finds out some of the sinister plans they have for him, Rei and later on Asuka?

Interesting to see how this one is progressing because whether Asuka is "cannon" Asuka (spelling mistake deliberate there) or is actually civil &/or warms up to Shinji, Rei will probably find herself torn between not harming a fellow pilot...

and tearing Asuka in half... LOL

Enjoyed the chapter. I'm looking forward to what happens when Rei's shenanigans come back to haunt her.

I can see Rei being highly physical they could die during any engagement taking it slow doesn't make sense with that in mind.

I like it. Very interesting, and I especially like your take on Rei's mentality. I am worried that she will get herself killed, though. We all know that the Bastard King keeps a gun under his desk, and he won't hesitate to terminate Rei-2.

A pretty good start. Shinji more or less being a decent guy, and the girls slowly opening their hearts to him. All well and good. I particularly like that Ritsu is somewhat involved as well.

On the down side, the fic shifted to a pretty standard Shinji/Rei setup in the last half chapter or so (right down to the excuse that her entire lifestyle is based on following intentionally retarded orders, instead of a more believable trio of oversight, ignorance and indifference), insultingly cartoonish demonizing of the adult male cast, and the knowledge that Asuka will probably be making her appearance within the next chapter or two. Of course Asuka will, as per usual, destroy everything simply by being there. You'd figure with six thousand Eva fics that at least one of them would take mercy on us and NOT force Asuka into the Katsuragi household, NOT require that ridiculous dance training, and NOT insult an already unstable college graduate by placing them back in middle school.

Still enjoying.

As always for Shinji x Rei fics, or stories that start with this pairing, I can't wait till Asuka enters the picture. That firebrand always spices things up.
