It's cute how Maya is all shy and Ritsuko is all open. The switch from Rei to the two other still seemed kind of off for me though. Especially with all the Rei x Shinji goodness this had in the beginning. Let's just see where this s going, especially with Lilith\Rei still around.

Hm, Kaworu's entrance was a bit simple, no? That's not how you introduce the messenger of free will. At least they reanected the shower in the base scene with Shinj having the proper reaction of shock and wondering if it's okay to be his friend, instead of accepting him completely and taking lov from whoevr will give it to him (which led to more loss in canon and all that jazz). It'll sadly be a mistake I fear, Shinji...

Holy crap, Maya's Shinji and Kaworu interacting is somethng I don't think I have seen before. Good work! Terrified Maya FTW! Also nice how Ritsuko got in contact with her. Danm, how hard is Kaworu's death going to be I wonder.

LOL now that is a perfect way to get Misato's attention: "I ampregnant with Shinji Ikari's baby." Hahaha. And of course she's sorry Shinji is Kaworu's friend. And now that the battle aproaches I'm on the edge of my seat...

Even torn apart Shinji tries to reason. Amazing how this was something he tried so little in canon ith Kaworu, just going "you betrayed me like my father whee whee whee!" At least... wait.. WHA-?! Ayanami?! What?! Pulled off Kaworu's head- WHAT?! Holy- Gendo's hand- WHAT?!

Holy shit that was intense. And it broke Shinji to the point he moved out of Maya's place, just like in canon at this point... Well just don't make him masturbate to Asuka's comatose body. And don't end the world either.

Masterful as ever. Like a car crash you don't want to look ,but, can't help it as everything falls down
who will be left at the end and how will they be? Can't wait till the next episode. Though dreading it as things will get far worse before they get better if they do? I hope they do myself.

I'm just hoping for a happy ending for Asuka. Or for her to get to spend time with Shinji/Maya relaxing before the end comes. It just seems so hopeless for her.
