I remember reading the 1st original chapter back when you first posted before I had an account on this website. I've come back an actual decade later after finding this fanfiction complete and I want to tell you that you did an amazing job! Danny getting shot and it being actually fatal to including the GIW, Vlad, and the interpersonal drama between Danny and his parents were all very juicy! The suspense is wonderful and I hope that you've continued writing stories that make yourself happy! I loved the twist ending that Jack found out Vlad's secret before Maddie did, it made the ending that much great! Happy holidays!

Technically Danny could have just asked Technus to touch him and then Danny could have used his own powers to move them both instead [invisible and intangible of course]. If it happened once without the burns, I assume it could have happened again.

Omg what, author you did so good! I mean, it's sad and painful, but since that's what you were going for and it also makes the story more interesting and serious, I love it!

This was a wonderful read. You characterized everyone so well I could hear each line in my head being spoken as if I was watching the show itself. I'm a sucker for reveal fics and the way you did the gradual reveal of Danny's powers to his parents, then his identity as Phantom to them, and then to the world was so gut wrenching. It was so realistic that his secret wouldn't come to light all at once and the scene where he's crying and saying sorry before transforming totally got to me ‧º·( ̣̣̥̣̣̥ )‧º· Thank you for sharing!

I love how everything started with Dash and Kwan, but as the story progressed, they were shown more as background characters. It showed how everyone is the center of their own story. Even as their whole world shifted on its axis, the characters around them barely took note, focusing on their own pressing issues.

I found while reading this that I could picture everything so clearly. This came across like it could have genuinely been an episode, like a different series finale. Something about the pacing, or the timing of the humor, or the picture painted in the fights, it really brought me back to watching the series for the first time (with all the excitement and energy mini-me had).

This whole story was great. It was one thing after the other all the way through. The scene with Technus really got to me. It was that moment it became clear just how much else was going on, and things were more connected than they first appeared. At first, I thought this was going to be a small, more focused type story, but each chapter expanded the world more and more, layering on gravity in a way that made everything seem so severe, but not so sudden that the reader disconnected. (Does that make sense? Like when the scope of something is so big from the get-go, it can be hard to relate or take seriously.) With everything going on, I was feeling overwhelmed right beside Danny, and the hits kept coming. It was great to see his allies all fighting beside him. I loved the comparison between Frostbite and Jack, too. The full implications behind what they had achieved didn't really hit me until Vlad spelled it out. (Given the way he reacted to them, just imagine if he ever found out about Clockwork!) I really liked the way Danny's parents reacted in this. You wrote them so well. Also, I think Danny's dying/healing is going to be firmly lodged in my head canon. It just makes so much sense! It's also super cool in that freaky sort of way. (What if someone found him in that warehouse? What if Dash or Kwan called 911, or tried to hide his body?)

This entire story was amazing and so much fun to read. Thank you for sharing!
