Why is Astra seeing her mom? I guess touching Khai’s skin opened up her own memories...?

I was thinking since Bella touched his skin she would be able to see his mind, not her mothers thoughts or her own.
Where I thought Astra was possibly the doctors daughter, it now occurs to me that his wife might have been assisting the project. If that’s the case they probably faked her death and sent her away.

Where I thought Astra might have been made in the lab I’m now leaning towards her being the baby that the doctors wife was expecting. Maybe he was trying to help his wife get pregnant but later realized he couldn’t pass Astra off as their daughter. He could have taken samples from the lab not realizing they weren’t completely Giidas, just a theory.

Astra should have kicked his ass.

I guess Jasper is Alice’s mate. Will Khai and Aster be separated? If they are I hope it for something work related and not for something bad. I’m still worried about the blood work.

He should definitely not get involved with a cadet, his own student. Khai seems like he is living a regular life, what ties does he have to his earlier life?

Carlisle seemed to know Astra was special and someone might be looking for her and sent in her blood anyway. She wasn’t on her death bed, there wasn’t any pressing reason for him so send in her bloodwork.

It sounds like it’s a lost cause, he is hooked. I want to see what happens if Astra is in real danger, I bet there will be no holding back than.
I was thinking Astra was an experiment that was smuggled out, possibly by the doctor that wasn’t completely happy about Khai’s situation.
