![]() ![]() Love your story so far, but wasn't Aragorn 87 during the war of the ring and 210 when he died. |
![]() ![]() ummm...the ages in this are a little off as Aragorn died at age 210 and was around 87 when the fellowship happeded |
![]() ![]() Is Harry meant to be Australian -_- |
![]() ![]() ![]() Now would be a good time for an "Aw, fuck... I was having a good day, too." |
![]() ![]() ![]() "Sorry, I don't speak welsh." Fricking HILARIOUS! Also, thanks for using an Alanis Morrissette song. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Fantastic! That is Brilliant! :) Kamai6 |
![]() ![]() I walked out into the hall, but as I rounded the corner, a touch of mischief made me call back over my shoulder: "Ai! Ai, a Balrog is come!" I used my best doom-and-despair voice, then took off running down the hall. What can I say? I loved that line. Don't quite remember saying it, but who cares? Made for good atmosphere. Behind me, I heard Elrond laughing. * I found Glorfindel hunched by the elevator, hyperventilating. His carved Elven dagger was embedded in the wall, clear up to the hilt. Haldir was standing beside him, patting him worriedly on the shoulder. He gave me a pointed look. "Oops." I said, somewhat sheepishly. "That...wasn't...nice." Glorfindel gasped. "Sorry." I'd forgotten that the golden-haired Eldar wasn't overly fond of Balrogs. Quite a natural reaction, given the circumstances. I grasped the hilt of his knife and pulled it out of the woodwork. "This is yours, I take it." fell out of chair laughing;) |
![]() ![]() ![]() Holy shit, that was awesome. Yeah, sorry to spam you with two reviews in a day, but, wow. Again, amazing imagery. And characters. And general awesomeness. I now plan to sleep, since I have to wake up in 4 hours. :P I doubt my hockey coach would appreciate "I was up all night reading fanfic" as an appropriate excuse for being exhausted at practice, but there ya go. The price I pay... :D |
![]() ![]() ![]() WOW. I'm on chapter 6 and this story in INCREDIBLE. I usually hate "Lord of the Rings in the modern world" fanfics, but this was recommended to me and I was hooked by the first chapter. The imagery in the writing is insanely awesome, that first description of Legolas was so amazing I had to grab the nearest pencil and paper to sketch out the scene. (I'll send it to you if I ever get my scanner working again.) I love the use of songs (the fact that you've used two of my favorite bands so far helps) and the Led Zeppelin/LotR reference make me so happy. Anyway, I'm going to stop raving now because I have to keep reading! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I just have to say, I love this story, and i love it so much that it has actually been haunting my dreams the latest nights. I don't know where you got the idea but this is simply wonderful and I look forward into reading the next part, witch I will do right... about.. now.. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Too bad this was the end of the first part. I so can't wait to read the second part. Legolas better not die! He's too cute for that! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I knew it! I knew Trish was trouble! |
![]() ![]() ![]() They just like kidnap Aragorn, er Adam. How nice. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I have a bad feeling about Trish, I just don't know why yet. Anywho, this is an amazing story! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I hoped Frodo and Sam learned that you can't run forever! Gandalf came! Yay! Hey, the cool old guy with the stick is awesome! He can turn people into frogs. |
