Fitzwilliam Darcy you get back there right NOW before I smack you. Said in my best Mom voice (and my 4 year old can attest it's a pretty great Mom voice) and I don't actually encourage violence. But still. Arg, Darcy stop being so Darcy-like! I just want to grab him by his lapels and shake him a bit to get some sense in him. Seriously, Darcy what do you think she's going to say now? Get over yourself. It's like you super knew her or had any claim on her. Darcy's spent way more time and meaningful time w/ her. *hairflip*

THREE more chapters? And everything will wrap up happily? Ah, stressed how the rest of this is going to go down. The reception will have to be at least 2 chapters? Nooooo! Catherine is a bit like Lady Russell right now; she couldn't convince Anne to leave Frederick until she told her that the marriage would harm Frederick. Elizabeth would not respond to a true threat, she's too brave (and proud) for that; she would, I believe, bow to external pressure to help someone else. Poor Elizabeth! I'm hoping that Darcy will take some time to reflect on her words, really thinking about the fact that she literally just said (and more importantly, actually MEANT) "It's not you, it's me." Thanks for sharing; I look forward to an update.
