![]() ![]() ![]() What a fantastic story... a modern version, very realistic and with the right level of conniving, plans of attack, disappointed women and a HEA for our heroes. I highly recommend this story. Thank you so much! Hi |
![]() ![]() ![]() So, so, soooo good! I like Georgiana and Louisa in this, and that Jane and Bingley’s day goes ahead perfectly... |
![]() ![]() This was so great to read! |
![]() ![]() ![]() An absolutely delightful tale! I would love to see a follow-up detailing their life in London and their continued path to HEA. Thank you. |
![]() ![]() cute but I really dont think Darcy would hold it against Elizabeth if he thought she rejected him. he would be hurt, sure, but he would also be respectful not resentful. I also thought your Elizabeth was a little too self deprecating. seemed a bit out of character. other than that your story was fun to read. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Nice romantic story. More so than most, i kept thinking, movie script., |
![]() ![]() ![]() I really enjoyed this. It was a rather sweet and funny spin on the fake dating trope. Definitely one of the better modern AU's on here and you wrote Lizzy and Darcy very well- I could completey see why they fell for each other despite their differences. All in all, I thought your writing was very good, your plot felt original and your have a real talent for writing dialogue. One of my pet peeves with P and P fanfic is characters saying how witty and charming Lizzy is and then never including any dialogue that supports those claims, but you wrote a Lizzy who was funny and very likeable. I have one constructive criticism which is the way you wrote the less likeable characters. I felt they came across a bit like cartoon villains at times and their dialogue was also less realistic. I think this story would have been stronger if you could have made them slightly more rounded, modern characters. I didn't stop me from loving this story though. I just checked your profile and saw that you wrote unfathomable which is another story I really enjoyed so I really hope you're still writing and will be sure to check out anything you post. Thanks for sharing this. |
![]() ![]() So glad I found your story. It was so original, while still feeling comfortable. I really enjoyed it. I know it's been years, but a Lizzy in London story would be awesome. |
![]() ![]() this is starting to remind me of much ado about nothing |
![]() ![]() she does know Darcy said that to piss her off right? still a great story... even on the 3rd/4th time around that I've read it :)) |
![]() ![]() ![]() Your story is wonderful; thank you for sharing it! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I liked this story very much. It has a perfect mix of E&D closeness and problems, with many unique twists in the way the characters and plot develop. It was also well written, with very few typos and excellent wording choices. Thank you for sharing it! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I love the way you had Elizabeth and Darcy talk to Charlie together. It was so nice to see them as a team during a part in the story where they're usually separate. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Very sweet! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I'm really enjoying the tone and character development in this story. And I loved the E, D, and G interaction in this chapter! |
