Love this story!

I just started chapter 15 of this story and I am already distraught that it is almost over. I’m late to the hunger games fandom and have only read a few of the most popular stories so far, but your story may just be my favorite out of all of them. It’s very angsty and at times I wished the characters would just open theirs eyes, but to me the best stories are the ones that make you get to caught up in the story that it makes you feel something. Whether it be annoyance, joy, or pleasure the best stories are the ones that make the characters real people with real issues. Some comments mentioned the characters being annoying, but now that we have learned what Katniss was feeling in previous chapters everything makes so much sense. I could go on and on about my love for this fanfic, thank you for this story. I hope it gets finished one day.

I think this is the first everlark fic where I actually don't want them together. It's too toxic, all he talks about his her, there's nothing else he thinks or talks about. I mean obviously that's what the fic is about and he has other friends and I know they'r starting a fresh which is what they need but my god they're annoying XD

so this confirms it then, peeta gave her a chance and she ignored it. I know she's probably doing what she thinks is best for him but omg I'm gonna bang my head against a wall

I actually want to strangle katniss, probably because I'm so protective over peeta. I know he's making mistakes and if he had just been honest with her about his feelings then it would have stopped all of this but at the same time, katniss should know better. I know she's a flawed person with a shitty history but it angers me so much when she pushes him to do shit, she encourages him to date, she shags guys or goes on dates with them but if peeta does the same she gets angry. She has no right to get mad when he goes out with madge when she's slinging it about all the time.

Amazing writing though, only a good author like you could make me feel so livid at a written story haha

Ah I've finally decided on my theory on how I think this story is going to go (it's making me sympathise with katniss more) my theory is she does like him and always has like he has with her but because of her dad she's terrified that he will leave her eventually like her dad did since the everdeens were probably as in love once. So she keeps him in the friends with benefits and uses sex to keep him with her, not knowing that it's destroying him because these tit heads never communicate!

ugh this is so toxic and I fucking love it

I was initially thinking, wow this is kind of ooc for katniss (defo not for peeta, what a gentleman as always, he's such a sweetie) but then I remembered: it's a modern au and tbh we have no idea what kind of person katniss would have been if she was in a complete different setting and time etc. I loved 'A favourable wind' so I KNOW this is going to be amazing.
