I'm going to sound like a dick for this. He had a breaking point. There were many times she fucked up. What he did was shady. They need to get their shit together.

So... I totally agree with you in that while I abhor the idea of any romantic involvement between Bella and Jacob, I do enjoy him immensely when ever he is an honest to goodness, Tuesday friend. And I really don't mind him at all I need this story. I also like how he and Embry are gunning for the godfather position, lol. And yes, Bella's short comings can be annoying at times but I am so far from hating her, at all. She's young... and while I'm not using that as her absolute excuse, I think all readers have to remember that Bella was a longer most of her life and that was never by choice. She's still trying to figure things out. Hell as a 42 year old woman at a crossroads in her career and her marriage, I've had to try to go figure myself out again! So folks need to cut her some slack and at least not have her. There... said my peace. :)

I can see why this was a fun chapter to write! And ummm...is there really a secret society such as this or did you literally make it all up? Because the "hadbook", if you will, seemed to cover all bases, lol. I applaud and admire you for keeping the plot lines and back stories so clear! :)
