|Reviews for A Second Chance|
| Ltbutterfly287 chapter 1 . 8/25
You literally made up a Vader quote and proceeded to make a claim about the force that is not only false but grossly incorrect.
| AnimeGoji91 chapter 13 . 7/12
Hope is going to be new chapters and hope you put Dark Troopers as Darth Vader's troops and with help his soldiers and please continues this story please!?
| vivinene chapter 13 . 5/27
How can Vader expect to save Anakin, if everything he does is following Palpatines orders and winning the war for the separatists. The story is a really nice idea, but otherwise...
| joe haynes chapter 1 . 12/20/2020
This was an absolutely brilliant read. , thank you :) look forward to chapter 2
| Kuro.435 chapter 3 . 11/13/2020
Starkiller huh... Kento would make a good apprentice
| Kuro.435 chapter 2 . 11/13/2020
Outstanding chapter, truly marvelous how it portrayed the Jedi and the Separatists (before Sidious corrupted their goals). This shows that Vader’s fall back then wasn’t as baseless and entirely his fault since the Jedi Order had log since been corrupted
| Kuro.435 chapter 1 . 11/13/2020
Awesome beginning, a punishment with hidden motives of redemption and to defy destiny itself
| JadeUnderwater chapter 12 . 10/29/2020
Even u had already rewrite the story I still want to say this is probably the best military sifi plus action story I have ever read in Star war s fanfics. Very nicely down, especially the entire on the indomitable.
| Guestinator chapter 1 . 9/26/2020
Damn, lost me with that random Force Beyond God Actual Being That Communicates With Someone Randomly After Tens Of Thousands Of Years.
As you might be able to tell that did not engage me. Godspeed on the story!
| E chapter 2 . 8/6/2020
Vader definitely deluded himself. Did you see RotS? He had lost himself to this inane concept that somehow he was doing good by killing all Jedi and destroying democracy. Some of that was powerhigh, sure, but a lot of that never went away. He truely believed in the Empire. In the barest, most naive sense the Empire had some just foundations. There was meritocracy ideas at its core, only those who work hard will get ahead. And on the Core Worlds, localized crime went to an all time low. That was it. Overall, organized crime skyrocketed, genocides and slavery and other humanitarian crises happened regularly and were even institutionalized, and corruption was actively encouraged by Palpatine. This was the Empire that Vader had convinced himself was the only option. There were plenty of Rebels that liked the Empire as an idea, but not its execution, he could have easily joined and fit in. But no, he deluded himself fir half his life because he had convinced himself he had no alternatives. That he had to cope with the status quo and was too scared of losing the little he had left in life, himself (barely) and a master who had made as much a slave out of him as everyone else he ever served. So he definitely deluded himself just as much as any Jedi, just in different ways. He had little self righteousness, but plenty of self-fufilling cycles that he himself perpetuated. So I disagree overall with your take on the Jedi. Really what I got from the prequels and originals overall was that the Jedi had noble goals, but had become mired by arrogance and shortsightedness, and that they were as much responsible for Anakin's choices as Palpatine and Anakin himself were. As far as I know though, Voss was a maverick but not particularly self righteous. That's more a Windu thing. Voss isn't the kind of guy to do something like what's described here, maybe Mundi would.
| Churchillwaswrong chapter 5 . 8/2/2020
This might be the most unintelligble thing I've ever seen written. Vader gets the chance to go back and save his family, to expose Sidious with clear knowledge of everything he's about to do, and instead he decides he's going to murder his wife's family?
With no motivation that makes any sense whatsoever? What? Did you watch Star Wars?
| Spica75 chapter 5 . 7/7/2020
So, Vader gets sent back to do better and to do that he agrees to do even worse?
No choice? Rubbish.
And what's the point of a do-over if he's just going to put himself under Palpatine's thumb again, except worse?
| Pendragon chapter 1 . 5/26/2020
In this it does make sense because the force would be responsible for anakin's live there for he would need punishment because he let palpatine control anakin's dreams
| Guest chapter 13 . 5/4/2020
All these turds bitching about Starkiller shut up he was fantastic you people just love sucking the fun out of everything
| Lutemis chapter 3 . 4/13/2020
This characterization is really forced. If Vos did something like this with such ease, he already had a precident for it, and if he had such remarks towarsmds his padawan, there was nost certainly no way the boy respected him. Vos is a caricature.
