Great chapter, please update soon :)

Great short story, really enjoyed all the hardship/angst and all the accumulating events from all the years that has been building. I'd really like to see how this would continue as a sequel especially now that season 11 has started giving a few good story lines to follow. I agree with Tony's thoughts that after all this he just couldn't go back to Gibbs team or NCIS (which no doubt would be a great story line in it self as the others would just assume that everything could go back to normal).
I'm thinking for Tony either going to Homeland under Morrow (as Morrow knows Tony and no doubt would know about Tony's objections about and unwillingness to participate in what went down but did so only to protect his team) or perhaps joining INTERPOL would be the best move for Tony (as he loves working in law enforcement to much, just to stop doing it but after these events would want a change from being just a cop or a standard fed), or perhaps Tony could go private he could get a PI license and get his own clients, also could still do some consulting for law enforcement agencies and the police force or could just work for some private firm (but I think Tony going on his own would be more his style if he was to go private).
I hope to see this continued as a sequel or something to see where Tony's life would lead after these events.

Tony deserved a break! And yes everyone should treat him better! I think you are right about the caricatures of each character!

A truly impressive story. I've just stumbled upon this excellent story and I'm really, really glad to hear that other like-minded people believe that NCIS has gone to the dogs in the last year or three. The storylines have been going off track making a mockery of any military or civilian law enforcement - the latest lot of turning Ziva into a mercenary who can take out targets at her own will, without proving their guilt is utterly ridiculous. Yes, I know it's a TV show, made for our entertainment, based upon a Federal Agency in the States, However, there is a responsibility to the writers to ensure that certain facts remain just that, facts. You simply cannot sanction hits on members of other Worldwide Agencies without ramifications. Ziva was one of my favourite characters up until the last three years when she became 'daddies little girl' who was above all laws, rules and Gibbs' did nothing to bring her up on her behaviour. Director Vance was just as bad, if not worse! I am a Tony fan, used to be a Tiva shipper too, but NO MORE! I'm glad her character is gone, I'm only further pissed by her finale episodes where Tony was dispatched on a wild goose chase, again sanctioned by Director Vance - hmm...I'm sure that's not how it's supposed to work! I think you're story is superb BinkeyBella in the sheer fact that you've given Tony the gumption NCIS' writers have failed to do thus far. I really hope that real life calms down enough for you to be able to provide us with some more chapters to this amazing tale. Can't wait to see what you've got in store. Finally, let's hope NCIS' writers get some clue from us fans that the show is going down the toilet and only they have the power to save it at this point. Stretching the show out into another spin off isn't really the answer, unless they plan on canning the main show once this latest rendition is set up. If so, I do hope they give it a fitting end. I really used to love the Gibbs & Tony in their unspoken Father/Son relationship, but now Gibbs has lost all respect his SFA ever gave him and frankly I don't see how the show can get that back? Anyone got any ideas? Would love to see more of this if you have time.

I'm really enjoying this so far. I do hope it doesn't turn into one of those stories where Gibbs comes to Tonys rescue. Tony is more than capable of looking after himself, would be nice if he ended up working for Interpol or MI5/6 and crosses paths with team Gibbs while working a case.

I love this story and hope that you have not abandoned it. Please finish it. That's right, I am begging.

Very angsty story, so Gibbs has got 'Tony in trouble' gut problms, & we all know that trouble finds Tony even hen he's not looking. Can't wait to see what happens next !
| blarney chapter 4 . 10/7/2013
Very interesting chapter. Tony mulling over all the injustices he has been served over the years by the team and its leader justifies his feelings. When will they all get a clue as to Tony's worth as an agent and fellow human being. Can't wait to see what you have in store for Tony and I hope it is something worthy of his intelligence and talents. Love to see him become a higher-up in some organization.

Hello darling! I'm finally catching up on everything. Since I haven't watched the show in about 3 years (lol), I pretty much have no idea what's going on here...so naturally I agree with everything Tony is doing! I love how you try and fix things, which is definitely how I'm able to enjoy this. So Gibbs' Tony-in-Trouble-O-Matic is going off... can't wait to see what happens.
| Klecky chapter 4 . 9/18/2013
The show has pointed out that Tony is quite capable of cutting people out of his life - even if they had been close once. Tony shuns the crooked cop & former partner Danny Price. I think Gibbs is quite right in thinking that Tony would not return to NCIS after fighting publicly with him.
If you think about it, Jethro " 2 Obsessed Illegal Revenge Plots a Season" Gibbs is veering a little too close to Danny Price's version of bending the law. Better to get some distance between you.
Hope that Gibbs isn't going to save Tony from some danger on the Riviera like some damsel in distress. Saw movie To Catch a Thief last weekend & am looking forward to DiNozzo at play - perhaps Cannes film festival?
| Klecky chapter 2 . 9/18/2013
Do you realize how mind bogglingly dead on and how good this chapter from Gibbs' POV is? You captured the frantic flow of words that surely must be behind the "functional mute's" expressive eyes when everything in the office goes to hell so suddenly. Fantastic take on Gibbs' view of Tim's military upbringing. Gibbs' view of Tony is brutal but probably very accurate of Gibbs' opinion on the Marine's bad days: weak, you don't command respect, you haven't suffered like me.
I really applaud your writing here (& other chapters as well).

Very angsty Tony. I love it! Great story so far. I'm wondering what trouble tony is going to get himself into...
