Great story. I loved the way that Dean and Sam cared for eachother. I actually did not see the Dean part coming at the end. Thanks!

"Dude, you haven't got any chunks left to blow," Dean said solicitously. "Think you're down to that slimy—"
Very nearly made me give a very unladylike snort and disturb a room full of quiet testers. Too funny.

This was all kinda awesome and all kinda cute and hurty! I loved every word, every scene, but what really made me go aw, cuuute, was when Dean gave Sam his socks, lol... :-)
Awesome story, loved everything about it! :-)
Tnx for sharing,

'No matter how rejuvenated Dean had come back from down under, how much Sam had changed while he was gone, no way was either of them turning down a home-cooked meal.'
'Well, Dean grinned, so long as it wasn't chicken.'
Great ending and so Dean. :)
It's one of the great thing about fanfic, it can provide those moments the show should have used. Just a few of these and the season would have been so much stronger. enjoyed it. :)

I really like how this one came together and explored Sam and Dean's relationship right after Dean returned from Hell. They're both so messed up and lost at that point, but it was so great how you had them both trying to reconcile their positions and get back to where they were before. Fitting into the roles they remembered. Poor Sam with his food poisoning, but still not letting anyone stop him from trekking out to find Dean... who went up against a big snarling supernatural dog. Ouch. The title seemed especially fitting for him here.
Fave line: Sam had actually called him for help. Dean didn't know whether to be exultant or terrified, so as he covered the short distance to the motel, he just settled for both.

Excellent story. It's hard to understand the trauma of watching someone die, especially if you've never been through it yourself.
Thanks for sharing this.
| Indigo-Night-Wisp chapter 1 . 7/2/2013
Poor Sammy. Throwing up sucks.
But you know, if you've got Dean to cuddle you afterwards, it probably isn't so bad. :)
Love this, as usual. A lovely blend of humor, fluff, hurt/comfort, and angst. And snuggles. :) Though I do find myself worrying about the truck...
Anyway, marvelous. :)

Wonderful story! It's always great to read a story where both brothers love each other and care about their well-being. I liked the additional nuance of the boys trying to get comfortable with each other after Dean's absence in Hell for several months. I also like your take on Dean's memories of Hell coming back to him in tiny bits because I always believed that's how it really happened - not that Dean was lying about remembering events in Hell.
I really loved the Sam I saw here; the one who missed his brother, tried everything to get him back, and was so happy to have him back in his life again. The writers have truly crucified his character this past season and I still haven't figured out why!
Thanks for this great h/c story. Always love to see your name pop up with a new one. Until next time...
