hmmmm... Never thought of it that way. Would we have done any different. Today, if we saw an animal talk, we would think we are dreaming. Then if he told us that God is wrong, with all the power that God gave him, we would falter. He would tell you proof that he is wrong and suddenly your eating fruit. But you would also have to consider it... it's Satan. He's trying to tempt you. Don't give in... but maybe, just maybe, he's right. God was wrong, you won't die. And you would like the knowledge...

i too when i was a kid used to think, that i wouldn't do the mistake eve did if i was in her place... or stuff like...
all because of eve we all are suffering..
but then now i realize... it was a simple command eve broke... without knowing the consequences... today we break Bigger commands which God gives... and at times... even when we know the consequences... how terrible is that...
so how can we say we wouldn't do what eve did... right?
amazing chapter light-chan :D
| Dha Rason chapter 1 . 7/7/2013
I understand, sometimes it's easier to blame others than facing reality. We can't stop the past from happening,no undo button for the mistakes, history narrates to us, we can only learn and hope we are not blinded by are prejudices

4.5 stars for looking at things though a unique perspective.
-1 star for not being what I would consider a fan fiction, so much as it is an essay (although still closer to one than the majority of stuff in this section). Actually, I'll subtract an extra -0.5 to that just because this was that rare opportunity where you could have written an amazing fic in the second person (something which is normally taboo) and you completely missed it.
I'm not a Christian anymore, but I still appreciate the Bible from a literary perspective. (Oddly, when I was a Christian, I was more interested in Egyptian mythology.) The story of Adam and Eve always seemed like a set up to me. Never made sense that they were expected not to eat the fruit when they didn't have knowledge of good and evil until after eating the fruit. Also consider that many predators were designed to eat meat, so death must have been the intention all along (unless God redesigned everything afterwards). And I think I'm getting rambly now.
TLDR: Good essay. Unfortunately, still an essay. (That's mostly a personal bias of mine though, so don't let it discourage you frome writing more.) Final verdict: 3 stars
