I don’t know if you still read the reviews, but I leave this anyway. And in advance, I apologize for my bad grammar. English isn’t my first language and writing is difficult for me. I like your story. It’s awesome! But there is one point, I would disagree. As I understand it, Rick is blaming Kate for being raped…? I was shocked when I read that part. I mean, I know she hasn’t been raped but at first he believes it. And then he is actually blaming her for offering herself for his life? And I can’t understand Kate for letting him. I really understand that he is angry for her leaving like she did, but only a few days before his kidnapping, he wrote her his letter that he understands her and supports her. And that he is waiting for her. It seems like he is suffering from amnesia, like he has forgotten that he loved her only two weeks ago and hoped to marry her. I do understand that he is confused and suffering from his ordeal with Tyson and that he is insecure because of the lies Tyson must have told him. But I can’t understand his reaction to her because of the rape / assault. I know that he was tricked from the drug so he believed she enjoyed Tysons assault but since the drug wore off, he must have realized that that couldn’t be right. I can’t imagine that he would believe she would enjoy in any form being raped by Tyson. If I were in Kates place, I wouldn’t be able to forgive him.

His reaction seems cruel to me and out of character, because he is a friendly and forgiving person by nature. And that Kate accepts his accusations (more or less) seems a bit out of character too. What she has been through was a horrible ordeal, too. And she acts like it is OK to be treated like it was her fault. Maybe it wasn’t the wisest decision to go to her apartment alone, without back up, but that’s not a good reason to treat her like he did.

But I like the way you describe Rachel! She is a very nice and interesting character. I loved the way she handled the situation with the boys when she found Kate in her old bedroom tied to her bed. And the way you describe the investigation is very exciting! I’m very curious how your story will continue.

What a read. I've been binging Castle again, the last couple of days and I was in the mood for some good fanfics. I stumbled upon this one and I was swept away. I kept reading till 2 am last night, and eventually forced myself to go to bed. First thing this morning, I was back on track to finish the final chapters. It was amazing, every last bit of it. Thank you for having taken the time to sit down and write this amazing story.

It still hard to believe that she is ready to be partnered with someone else because I can't see the possibility of castle being the 3rd wheel while both the women takes the front seat and Castle in the back or not at all this does show that she is ready to move on with her professional career even if Castle is not with her to be partnered with. Shame of such a vibrant character that I seems to love.

If Backett really want to be in Castle's life for real this time she should show her whole heatedly effort and leave law inforcement once and for all because it is an addiction to her she will always put her work before Castle if she is attached to it the evidence can be seen that whenever they were talking about something important in Canon they got interrupted she bolts and focus on the work not on Castle. Castle deserves someone who can make him number one priority like Backett is Castle's. And see seems to agree with Gates that if she comes back to 12th she is ready to be partnered with Rachel even if there is no Castle as Gates mentioned it to be discussed in future. This show that she will always put her means above him.
