I was right, yay! He liked her for this two years and was hiding behind a crush on Tanya. For good reason too, as Jake knew Edward liked Bella. It was very nice to read the one chapter of Tanya asking when he'd get the backbone to tell Bella how he felt. That she knew he had turned her down two years earlier because he wanted Bella. Even she agreed Jake was an ass and didn't deserve Bella. It was unfortunate that his admission of love was stolen from him by Jake showing up and disrupting them. Then him saying it the way he did to Jake. However, it did push them to admit that they really did love each other. Loved this, it was very fun to read. Thank you for sharing your imagination with us here. ~Christy

Okay at the halfway point here, I'm thinking that Edward has had a thing for Bella all along but, she was with Jake when they first met. Since he didn't want her to know he liked her, as he worried that it would hurt their friendship, he has been faking a crush on Tanya. Now that Bella and Jake broke up and she's gotten over him, Edward admitted his predicament to her in hopes of more with her. When she reiterates that he's going to ask Tanya out eventually, he simply agrees because he's not ready to fess up yet. I do believe he's a virgin but, I must admit it is just barely believable. Only because he has lasted pretty damn long for being new to it. However, if it is true and he wasn't a virgin and he ever admitted this to Bella, she would be angry that he lied to her so, I'm back to it being true. I flip flop through the chapters. I think he's blissfully happy with Bella and has no intention of asking Tanya out. As a matter of fact, I think Tanya has been asking Edward out all along and he's been saying no to her. That is what Edward stopped Tanya from saying the other chapter ago. Plus, Benny really loves Edward and dogs usually know these things. Fantastic story so far. See you at the end. :)
