| writeringoodfaith chapter 1 . 2/22/2019 This was really angsty but in a cathartic way. James being upset was just so realistic. Lily really doesn't do right by James in some interpretations of canon and a few statements from her POV really stood out to me - how everyone will say I told you so or she'll be hexed but it is worth being with him right now. About how she has to admit that she was wrong. About how hard it is to wait for him to say yes after she's exposed her soul (and knowing that he's done that for her for years and years and she has torn him down). It took me a little while to wrap my head around the fic's premise but I got there and it was great. |
