This story is absolutely brilliant.
I read the whole thing in one sitting and actually whined when I finished the last chapter.
As for the science-y bit I think you're doing quite well.

Okay, I know you haven't updated this in 2 years, but you really should. I just marathon read this and am now really bummed because most people don't finish their stories after two years. But to sum up my review PLEASE UPDATE.

I'm too lazy to sign in, oh well. Just wanted to tell you, as a die-hard Trekkie and TOS enthusiast, I think you're doing a very good job with this. Especially since you're fairly new to the fandom.
I like how you expand Khan's character. Even though I will always prefer the original, Cumberbatch's version of the character intrigued me. They kind of ended up making the new Khan more sympathetic than the first one! (Maybe it's just the sadistic nature of writers, but I am enjoying his suffering, keep it up :P)
My only problem with this I really shouldn't be complaining about, as you ARE drawing from the new movies, and that's how they more or less portray the character. Karl Urban nailed the cynical, moody side of McCoy, but unfortunately the movie's script left out his warmer side (plus all the friendships haven't had a chance to develop yet). Maybe you could tone him down a bit? Oh well. It's not really essential to your plot, so you don't have to listen to my TOS versus JJ-universe rants... :P
I really, really enjoyed this nonetheless, and I eagerly await the next installment. (Also, don't sweat trying to be a regular updater. I can be patient and I am well aware of how school and general life can mess with one's brain!)

I look forward to every chapter of this fan-fiction! I have to tell you, I get a thrill out of reading superbly written prose, therefore I find reading this to be extremely entertaining! Bravo! :D.

In trueth, this is, though clearly an agonizing situation for Jim and Khan, quite interesting for us.
However, if I were there, I would be wrapping them in nice, soft blankets and clutching them to me, crying about how Sissy will make it all okay.

Your work is wonderful as always and I love it! I printed the past 3 chapters out to read offline(30 pages!) today and was feelling strangely proud about it then I got a new chapter and I have to wait another week to print that out too xDD But who cares about that, so glad you're back :D Are you all right now?
Now, let's actually talk about the chapter, the original purpose of a review xP Khan showing weakness and still refusing to get help was well shown, he's such a stubborn kid! Yeah, does he know that all that 'stay way I duntneed help' thing makes like a stubbirn kid? xD Jim's reaction was so Jim-like too, all that shouting and frustration. I feel you on this one, Jim. If the situation hadn't been dire they would have been pretty adorable pulling tantrums at each other. Ah, children. xD
