|Reviews for ELEANOR - a deleted scene from Blood Lines|
| rjh1960 chapter 1 . 7/21/2013
Thank you so much for posting this. I missed it somehow. I loved Bloodlines, I have reread it numerous times, as I have reread you other stories as well. I miss this story and was so happy to read this outtake. Love, love, love it. Not sure I have ever read a fanfic where Edward bumps into an old neighbor. You were very creative with this. Thanks for sharing your wodnerful writing talent.

I loved it. This was exactly what my stressed out mind needed tonight. I loved all of the little tidbits about human Edward, Eleanor mentioned. I like the fact he had a bit of a mischievous side to himself when he was younger.

Thank you for sharing this here. Eleanor is my grandmother's name so the title caught me attention and then seeing it was a part of Blood Lines was an added treat. Already knowing why Edward wanted to have lunch with Rebecca, his tension is really understandable and well written. Nice that Bella understood why he didn't want to hold her hand. Eleanor's memories were delightful showing such a mischievous human Edward as a boy. Gave Edward some more memories of his human life and parents too at an earlier time than Carlisle could show him. Thanks again.

Oh my gosh! I never knew this existed- I feel like a bad Blood Lines fan for being unaware of it! Thank you so much for posting and allowing us to revisit my beloved BL Edward. I could feel his trepidation, joy, hesitance, and delight (all rolled up in one) at getting to talk openly, as Edward Masen, to his old friend. I could feel his frustration at now remembering everything she brought up. Now I have to go- I want nothing more than to reread BL. I have a feeling I'm going to stay up way later than my bedtime tonight :-P

Close one, Edward. Well handled.
Hmmm. Not such a perfect child were you?
Bella learned a lot this visit.

This was a lovely surprise. Thank you for posting this. Blood Lines is one of my favorite fics. Now you've made me want to go read it again.
Eleanor was adorable. Edward picked up that she was senile and therefore indulged her.
I truly enjoyed this. Thank you.

This was cute. I think Bloodlines was the only story I ever enjoyed where Edward had anything of a romantic/sexual past and was a vampire. So, that is just a testament to how you handled it all with a delicacy .

I really *love* this! It's so nice. Now I need to read 'Blood Lines' again - which I really really love! Thanks so much for posting this outtake. It's very special. I can just imagine that Edward had heart failure when Eleanor first saw and recognized him. But then he must have realized that people would just think she was having a senior moment if she talked to anyone about him - at least after she said she knew that her neighbor that died was Jimmy Hoffa. I'm glad, though, that Rebecca didn't come back while they were talking. And I loved that Edward had a bit of his human life to talk about with someone who was there - besides Carlisle. I'm also glad that Bella was ther to share this special gift with him.
Again, thanks so much for posting this. It's wonderful, just like 'Blood Lines'!
