|Reviews for A Patient Love|
| PasiphaeArsAmatoria chapter 17 . 3/7
I just devoured this and ruined my life. I so hope you update soon! I cried at least four times while reading. The angst and pain I feel in Alfred is just unbelievable. I adore both of these characters so much and I see you've maintained the integrity and feel of their personalities. But I've also never been so entirely drawn into a fan fic like this. It's stunning. Please keep going! I also have been listening to a melancholy/slow/sad playlist that has matched the emotion and feel so much it's just breathtaking. After Alfred's heat and Arthur left, "I'm so Lonesome I Could Cry" by Hank Williams started playing and I just sobbed. Again, you've ruined my life. Good Lord, please update soon.

OMG! I love this fanfic so far! There had been ups and downs in the right amount and the love between Alfred and Arthur is so beautiful. I haven't read anything like this in such a long time!

That's my birthday! I love this story...
| Phantom Ice chapter 17 . 9/25/2014
Oh, well of course this chapter with that wonderful kind of cliff hanger had to be the part update. Of course. ;-)
Anyway, I'm really loving this story, I was little iffy with the age gap in the beginning, but I continued reading because I knew it was a historical thing, and I do just love it!
Alfred as an Omega is different, not exclusive but different, and, to my surprise, I am enjoying it this way.
I do like how faithful you stay to historical facts, for the most part. It gives the whole thing a certain depth.
Well, update soon,

| ennflor chapter 17 . 4/25/2014
I've read the chapters that have been posted before (at that time there were 15 of them if I'm not mistaken) and kept reading as you kept writing and posting new chapters. And then I realized that I still haven't written a single review to this story? At least I think I haven't?.. :O If it turns out I have and I end up repeating everything I said in my previous review (assuming I wrote one), then I apologize. I'll just hope that it's nice to read good things said about your story even if those things were said before. :D
Anyway, I just want to say that I love this story! I really like how it's written. I can't really think of a term to call your writing style in this story, so I'll try to describe it. I like how it pretty much describes everything 'day-to-day'. Not literally, of course some parts of the plot are omitted obviously as it's for the most of times impossible to describe a character's every step (and unnecessary), but I mean I like how it doesn't have gaps and sudden lapses, etc. Though I don't mind those, no, I don't at all, I like them too. It's just that I think that the writing style you use in this story really fits it somehow? I can't really explain it. It really does sound like it's a story based on a historical research.
And speaking of which, the historical research, that's also something I like A WHOLE LOT about this story! I like how it's made as though it happened in real life and how fiction here is strongly bound to real events. How all of this is entangled and connected. You managed to apply your ideas to real life really well, so to speak. I'm delighted that some historical research is done and historical knowledge is used in this fic. It's really nice. It's also so very nice how realistically it is written, too.
I feel like sometimes the descriptions don't have many details and while I may wish for more details it still... also fits? Somehow everything works so well in this story. Details are just merely my own preference and even while I still have it, I like the story the way it is, without too long and detailed descriptions.
I like the characterization. For some reason I really like Alfred. :D I don't know why. And Arthur is also nice, he's pretty sweet. Sometimes I can't help and think that he indeed might be not as nice but then it turns out that no, it's all wrong. I hope that in the end he won't turn out to be a jerk or anything. I like the relationship he has with Alfred and how it is shown, it's really wonderful. And I like all the drama too. Again, I definitely fall for it all the time. And the relationship between Matt and Alfred is kinda sweet as well (despite how Matt delivered those news to Alfred and it had negative consequences).
In short, I'm enjoying the story a lot and I like every bit of it! I'm glad you continue working on it and I'm waiting for every new chapter eagerly! :)
