Awesome story~!

Good god, I loved this. It made my heart hurt. I would've probably devoured this entire story even faster if not for how dark and heavy a lot of the chapters got. Sesshomaru's characterisation was very believable to me, and I was waiting for someone to imagine how malicious and violent he was supposed to be before his eventual redemption arc in the original series. Lots of stories I've read (which I nonetheless relish) allow his compassionate side to show too quickly, when early on, I've always felt Sesshomaru was a bit of a spoiled brat and a sociopath. I think you brought that sort of darkness out wonderfully. I also love that you brought out a more adult side of Kagome rather than keeping her trapped in that naive and innocent archetype. AND, your writing was amazing - it flowed so well, there was always action or development happening, no words wasted on needless description, perfect cliffhangers, superb characterisation, super steamy sex scenes... there wasn't a single bit about your writing that I didn't adore.

My only dissenting thought was, I felt Sesshomaru's redemption in this story happened a little too quickly; I am certain that there were threads hinting at his potential for love and his real feelings for Kagome even in the earlier to middle chapters of the story, but they were very subtle and overwhelmed by all that dark, obsessive lust. Considering the sheer horror of what he eventually does to Kagome, I think there could've been a bit more room for reflection, growth, and development on both their parts. This gave me the impression that, while Sesshomaru's love for Kagome grows, his own character did not develop very much outside of that relationship.

Regardless, you have written one of my favourite SessKag stories and just one of my favourite pieces of fiction period. I applaud your talent, skill, and hard work! Wishing you so much more happy writing :)

My god I loved it! I cried! Amazing story

That was such a fun read. I really enjoyed your retelling of the final events of Inuyasha and how you used so many of the existing villains from the series. Your story telling really draws in the reader and you had me in anxiously reading through a conflict throughout the story. I do feel like Kagome gave seshoumaru a pass on a lot of bad behavior but you wrote it in a way that made it seem as tho at the end he was seeking forgiveness and had changed. Part of the fun of fanfic is being able to play with darker themes so I enjoyed reading how you handled it. Over all I loved this story with your take on inu-Kimi being my fav from all the stories I’ve read so far. Thanks for a great fic.
