| kaname's harisen chapter 10 . 3/29/2014
I loved the scene between the three ladies in the morning, what with the good natured ribbing and the sisterly concerns.
And I hope the new arrivals are what they appear to be. They almost seem to good to be true.

Oh, you did such a marvelous job with their first time! Not only was it gorgeously written, but it felt so very in character for the timeline and circumstances of this story. Seriously, that has got to be the best scene of that type that I've read for this couple. Very, very nice.

This is by far the most unique, creative Bethyl story I've had the pleasure of reading. Really, you doing such a remarkable job telling this story. And you've got me so curious about the connection between Judith and the wolves. I find it equal parts fascinating and terrifying (because as a parent I can relate to Beth and Daryl's fears).
| kaname's harisen chapter 6 . 3/29/2014
Oh, how the plot thickens! This last scene was a surprising, yet lovely, turn of events. Next chapter please!
| kaname's harisen chapter 5 . 3/29/2014
I really enjoyed the frankness of Beth and Judith's conversation - the little girl's worries and Beth's practical yet compassionate parenting. It suited them and the circumstances well.
I also really liked the interlude with Daryl and the deer. The line about feeding them as another way of protection felt very on point.
| kaname's harisen chapter 4 . 3/29/2014
Beautiful. This whole chapter was some beautiful. The way you captured Daryl and the conflict of his thoughts and emotions was so well done. Just wow... I think I'm slowly falling in love with this story.

Oh, I love your Judith! Such an intriguing character you're building with her! I'm excited to see where you take this.
| Lord Anubis Judge of the dead chapter 11 . 3/28/2014
Cute story. And I love how it takes the setup world to another level. We are not dealing with fresh survivors trying to work through the best option put hardened survivors that know all the essentials and a little more. The walkers are hardly more dangerous than any other wild animal at the moment with winter and starvation being the most dangerous alongside other humans. That almost brings it back to the real world. I love it. And Judith's development is great, I cant wait to see more.

Very interesting story, don't know how I missed it. Very glad you're continuing it, I really wanna know what happens next! Update soon!
| kaname's harisen chapter 2 . 3/27/2014
Well, you're still holding my interest. And I'm enjoying all those little details - they really flesh out the scenes well - so I hope you continue in the same vein.

I've scouring the archive for well written - solid grammar, good characterization, and a plausible premise - and I have to say you've got me intrigued.
| veganmagase chapter 11 . 3/27/2014
I should have picked it up with all the wolves, but then there was the moon tea and now Beth is literally reading GRRM. Nice GoT references, they make me squeal! This story is just so refreshing to read. Your word choices are so elegant and your pacing makes reading this story an adventure. The characters have depth and realistic thoughts and fears. And your smut is top notch! I hope your writer's block subsides because this piece is really excellent. Thank you for writing and good luck!
| Caitiann chapter 11 . 3/27/2014
So glad you're back. This is so much fun.
| SailorJollyRegina chapter 11 . 3/27/2014
I've been hoping to see an update to this story and I was not disappointed! It was great as always. Writer's block sucks. It doesn't show though. Wonderful chapter! I love the whole wild wolf angle with Judith. Thanks for updating.
| The Bella Cat chapter 11 . 3/27/2014
You updated! And it's perfect! And you are a word wizard!
Seriously I know I only recently reviewed this story but I just can't say enough about how perfect it is. I love this version of Daryl, it's what I've always thought he'd eventually become. I mean it's already there but he has always needed the right motivation to really realise his potential, so I love that you've given him this but also retained who he is at his core. Beth is perfect. Sweet, wise but also a little silly. And what you've done with the other characters is amazing. I'm so intrigued by Judith and I loved her scene with Carl this chapter.
I just can't say enough good things about this story. I dare say it's my favourite one here.
