On come on James and Lily! At the very least he isn't being abused by the Dursley's! What's more, he's learning how to kill the Dark Lord should he turn up again!

The fact that Bellatrix is planning on marrying Harry even though she's totally raising him as her son reminds me of this song:

Why? Because neither of them are related to the one that they plan on marrying, so it technically isn't incest!

So... is the ship in this story that of a Mother and her Son then?

Evil indeed. I was hoping that Draco would be rescued and raised by his mother, Harry and Bella. I guess with the 'harem' tag though that would end up a bit 'kinky'.

A story with a still Slytherin and dark Bellatrix as a mother to Harry is an interesting twist on the 'adopted' Harry genre. The writing style is compelling and well done. Unfortunately, neither could have foreseen Lucius planning and executing an escape so quickly. Searching the mansion for gold and saleable artifacts makes sense as does stealing Draco in order to hurt Narcissa as much as possible. He could, of course, kill him and breed himself a new heir but why bother after all Draco's link to the Black family might be lucrative in the future.

Slytherin, it would make sense because of the two ladies whom are raising.
