![]() ![]() ![]() Wedding dress shopping as a big girl is very hard. I felt Bella's pov. That why the British version of say yes to the dress big girl version is so wonderful. I feel these two will work through all the troubles that come up in marriage. Great story. Thank you. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Thank you so much for this beautiful story. It made me cry because I can relate to everything she was saying about herself. It was so hard to overcome the insecurities and self doubt. I have been overweight almost my whole life and my low self esteem ruined so many relationships for me. I pushed so many people away because I saw myself as ugly and unworthy. It didn't matter what any of my exes said, I just let my insecurities get to my head. And even now, there are still days when I hate myself. A part of me wishes I had someone like Edward who made me feel perfect and loved. Someone who never gave up fighting for me. But at the same time I'm also glad that I learned to love myself and love my body. I hope everyone gets to find someone like Edward in this story who will love us no matter what. |
![]() ![]() ![]() This was such a cute story. Very simple and straight forward. Just about them. My reflection on these last few chapters is that you should always do what makes you happy, but for you, not for what other people say about you. If Bella decided that going to the gym was something she would do to make any outside insecurity change, then she should do it for herself, because she chose it, and it makes her comfortable and happy. She shouldn't have done it because of what other people said about her. But again, I really understand her. I'm very insecure about my body, and that translates into other deeper insecurities similar to those Bella had but I realized that excersising for me, made me happy and made me appreciate myself and what my body is capable of doing when it works together with the positive side of my brain. Great story :) and a happy ending and everything. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I can identify with Bella in a way, because I was very fat during my teen years, and my friends weren't good friends, which translates in them making fun of me at times and giving me nicknames that even though they did not hurt, they were enough to leave a stain. It's easier to believe you're not worthy because someone played with an insecurity you already had than believe that you're more than what meets the eye. And as Edward said, he sees her all, and what he sees is wonderful and sweet and so much more than what we say to ourselves. I understand where she's coming from and why it's hard to believe he likes her. Cute story though :) |
