Every other month I go back and read this story, it's one of the best ones yet. I love the way you portray the pack as a big family, it really puts Sam's aloof animalistic nature in the spotlight. It's amazing!

this is one of those fics that stays with me and i periodically think about and reread and UGH I LOVE IT. Everytime its like i forget how good it is.

It was so hard to read about Paul and Bella. She deserved so much better (and she got it) but it was heartbreaking to read it. I won't even lie, I mostly stuck to reading The Quiet Ones only, I was too scared to adventure around your stories but I'm so glad I did. This story is soo good. Also props to you for making Sam have long hair.

Can we also talk about how you make the intimate scenes so sensual? Not sexual just so intimate and romantic, I literally had to stop reading multiple times because my heart was racing.

Also Sam building a whole house not knowing if Bella will ever come to him, him longing for her since that day in the forest, it insane how long he waited not knowing if she will come to him or not.

Also the way you don't erase Bella's trauma is wonderfully done. She's still has some trauma, we can see by the way she makes some gesture or these little sentences she used to tell Paul, but then there's Sam reassuring her. Also, even though Sam is not that vocal, when he is, he is assertive but always listens to her, wait for her to speak up, it's just so beautiful, intimidating but beautiful. I love how we see Bella grew to love him and even spurred him on, she wasn't afraid to ask what they are. Lovely story, you have a way with words that makes my head spin. Truly wonderful.

Read this story again and love it more. Thank you for sharing your considerable talent of portraying souls going through far more angst than should be necessary. I love Sam and I love Bella. Actually, I love all the pack. Somehow, you even managed to make me feel sorry for Paul. What a pathetic person he is. All his troubles were of his own making. Lots of people have a horrific upbringing and still turn out stable and capable of love and compassion. Sam was right - he had it all and threw it away. Hopefully, he can become the man he always should have been - and share his life with someone who completes him. This is definitely one of my favorite Sam/Bella stories. Thanks again.
