listen, i haven't been in this fandom for years now, but the instant i saw this, i knew i had to read it. I was in no way let down - every word of this seems so deliberate, each part telling a little piece of the story that you can see developing the whole time, yet the ending doesn't seem forced; rather, it seems like it ties together this with the perfect closing remark. The outsider POV offers such a unique experience as well - that one about Sam's teacher? Like a punch to the gut (in the best way). I'm super impressed, and if I had an account on here, this would be getting bookmarked (I might just settle for bookmarking it on my laptop lol). I can't thank you enough for sharing!
