![]() ![]() ![]() Loved it. Can't wait for more. Thank you! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Yeah, Edward's an dumb ass. Give up your woman and kids for the military. He could have joined the reserves. All he did was show Bella what was more important to him. I really hope that he doesn't start too much trouble for Bella now that he is back. |
![]() ![]() ![]() This is going to hit home for all a lot of people that have family in the military. I really hope that Edward fights for Bella back. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Groan, groan, groooooooooaaaaan... Jake? Really? After all this time and this many stories I still just can't stand the thought. So, if you can tell me ANYTHING to set my mind at east, like...is most of the story going to have her with him? If he's worried already, that bodes well, but...if they're already serious, she won't be quick to let go of Jake, and I have no idea how long this story is, so... Any sort of fear-easing you could do would help me a lot in deciding to continue. It's hard enough just reading she's with someone else at all and that they divorced and didn't stick it out. I'm a wuss. :D |
![]() ![]() ![]() I loved the chapter. Excited to read more. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Yep. I already love this story! Can't wait for the next update! 3 |
![]() ![]() ![]() Mercy, I hope Bella makes Edward work his ass off! ( I have the utmost respect for the Military personal and the sacrifice they make for their country's. With that said, this is facfic and he should have to work a bit for her love back! ) Looking forward to more :) |
![]() ![]() ![]() Nice to know there are still feelings there between them, enough for the spark to catch fire? Edward appears to be a level-headed individual who found the structure of the military along with serving his country fulfilling as his core character traits & needs. Many families do divorce over a deployment or move, having lived for a couple of years in Fayetteville NC (FT. Bragg, one of the largest Army bases in the US & home to Pope Air Force Base as well), most of our neighbors were military & we became accustomed to hearing such news. Some wives/husbands prefer & do stay near the immediate family & rarely move with their military spouse, this can lead to growing apart, the stress & expensive of the military spouse always having to come to the family. Some wives/husbands hate the town/area they're stationed in & decide to take the kids back "home". Some military spouses become "detached" from their spouse & kids & decide they'd rather be single than deal with the responsibilities & stresses of being married & having kids. It is not an easy lifestyle, & it is a specific lifestyle & commitment with more stress & hardship, including financial, than the average marriage must endure, encounter. jansails/jan2 PS: If the author upfront says they have no personal or professional experience themselves with the subject matter, I go with the flow. Being a hospital nurse, I might correct them on certain issues of my professional experience. Having had brain surgery, I might correct them from my personal experience. But, I do go with the flow when the author has been honest about their level of expertise & has asked for the readers' indulgence- that gains my respect every time. Unfortunately, many do not post that simple notice, then don't like it when the reader lets them know where they have gone wrong. I do wish there was a FAQ Good-To-Know page for authors & readers covering writing beyond one's own scope (& other things), when to send a PM over a conflict rather than a review, etc. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Glad to see you back. I'm interested to see where this goes, even though I don't typically read stories where Bella and Jacob are together (I hate Jacob, sorry). But I like the idea of an older Edward and Bella. I think its clear they still love each other. And its only been what, a year since that kiss? Yeah, go get your life back Edward. Oh, and thank you for being one of those writers that won't post until a story's complete. I continue to be frustrated by abandoned fics or stories that take years to complete. As a reader, I appreciate that you had the dedication and vision to see your story through before sharing it with readers. And selfishly, I hope this means we get quick updates. A couple of updates a week is a good pace. It's so hard when you like a story and you want to keep going to have to wait, even for a week. It's gotten so frustrating that I've mostly been reading completed stories lately. I like that I get something fresh and new. Thanks again. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I'm thrilled to see a new story from you and this one is off to a great start. We need to get rid of Jake as soon as possible. |
![]() ![]() ![]() love this so far! can't wait for you to update! you should do it daily! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Oh, I didn't like it starting with them being divorced, but I've loved your stories forever, so I'll trust you. That being said, the story has captured my interest. Hope you post again soon. |
![]() ![]() ![]() So glad you are writing again! I really enjoy your stories. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I can't wait to take this ride with you. Welcome back so happy you are writing love your stories. Lol his little girl is dating. There will be a hea, right? He gave up a lot to serve his country and this is why our military deserve our full support. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Poor Jake. He's got no chance once Edward redeems himself. |
